Who else feels like this?
I guess I haven't cared for awhile what other people thought of me, as long as my hubby was happy to be seen with me. That being said, my honest as the day is long husband, told me that my old, black, ratty looking bathing suit looked better than my expensive, plus size, hide me bathing suit. I was shocked! His reason? My thighs and belly looked better than they have in years and it made my boobs look good! I was floating on cloud 9 the rest of the day. I felt so good that I even went down a couple of water slides at the water park we were at. I have NEVER done that before!
I am determined to enjoy all the things I was afraid to do before!

Corina, you should feel sexy and alive, you are a young one with so much life ahead of you, embrace it sweetie. Raise your head high, you are a beautiful lady.
I would say I feel sexy when I've dressed in the formals for both Mardi Gras balls I attended in the past 2 years. Something about wearing a gorgeous formal (that I could never fit in while in school) brings out confidence I don't feel on a daily basis. I need to find that feel good everyday.
Hugs,

Oooh, we need to find you a "Happy Dress"!
The Legend of the Happy Dress:
When I was in high school, I was at the Jessica McClintock outlet in SoCal with my BFF looking for a dress for her for the junior prom. They had a rack of dresses that were marked down to $5. There was an ivory one, tea length, tulle skirt that I thought was cute. I grabbed it and hit the fitting room. I put it on. Not only did it fit perfectly, it made me feel happy. I decided $5 was worth feeling happy when I was down, so I bought it, schlepped it home and everytime I had a bad day at school, I'd come home, put on the happy dress and proceed with my evening - homework, sprawling watching TV, whatever. The happy dress went to college with me and everyone on my floor knew it well. Freshman year of college, the happy dress doubled as my princess costume with a tiara added to it. Even once I got too fat to wear the happy dress, I kept it.
Five years ago, my cousin was getting married and his fiancee had picked up her wedding gown months before the wedding and had it in her closet. She told me one night that she was scared she was going to ruin her wedding gown before the wedding because if she'd had a bad day, she'd come home from work and wear her wedding gown around the apartment. Since it didn't fit me anymore, I gave her the happy dress. It got her through the rest of the engagement.
For my 35th birthday, she had the happy dress cleaned, all the tears in it and beading that had fallen off repaired and gave it back to me. It's a 13/14, so it's too big, but I still keep it and see it everyday.
