I have RNY on June 1, does anyone have any idea how long it will be until I can go boating?

Check with your doctor....but I would assume if you are allowed to drive you'd be allow to go boating.  Also what kind of boat?  Power or Sail?  If Sail roller furling or do you have to hoist all the sail?. If you are a deck lizzard there should be no problem.  If you are hoisting and wenching sails that might be too strenuous for awhile.  But again your doctor is who you should ask and listen too.

It's going to be a little while I'm assuming and depending on what you are doing while boating.  If it's just a leasure boat ride I'd guess that might be doeable sooner than say tubing, skiiing, etc.

Please ask your surgeon, it'll take a little while for your insides to heal properly.
