Totally off Topic!! Night Life in Houston

I am hosting 2 Bachellorette parties for my future Sister in law.  The first is The 13th of June and the second is the 20th of June.  I have been living away for quite a while and have no idea what the night life is like anymore.  If we were all in our early 20s I might be able to figure it out but since we are all a little bit older say late 20s and early 30s Ia m not sure what is fun.  I am also not much for going out to bars and night clubs.  Anyway my question is for any of you that live in the Houston area.  Can you guys suggest some places to take my future sister in law for some fun!!  She wants to go out and dance.  I haven't done that in a very long time and definately not since a weight loss of 115 pounds so I am pretty excited about it too.  thanks for any suggestions!!  Hope you all have a great week.

My older daughter used to go to Numbers all the time but I don't really know anything about it.

80's night is Friday nights at Number's (Westheimer close to Montrose) but Saturday can get a little out there. 

There is a new club called Eight on Washington that has dancing and some of my co-workers say is fun.

I'm not from Houston, but we had a great time country dancing at Wild West (on Richmond) when we were there in November for the OH conference.

Is that where we went?!?!?

Well, yeah....when you are 4'-11" in a room fulla 6'- something cowboys......you see LOTS O BELT BUCKLES!!!  ROFLMAO!!!

I love Drink Houston, it is off of I-10 and they offer different rooms depending on the music you like. I personally love the Hip Hop and 80's rooms!!
