I had carbs yesterday for the first time in about 10 days and I also had a strawberry daiquiri. So today, I really better watch out for the carb monster. I am having coffee right now and my honey is in the kitchen cooking me breakfast.
Lunch-scalloped potatoes and sausage again(yummy)
Dinner-baby back ribs
I am going to try and make sure the carbs don't go beyond 50 grams while I am enjoying this holiday weekend. Have a great day.
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
The good news is I'm still at goal weight. The bad news is I've been eating tooo many carbs. I made the mistake of buying bagel chips and Lays chips. Can't leave them alone! I can tell I was bored last night I ate a bowl of Bluebell ice cream and I knew it would make me sick and it did. Sheesh gotta find something to do today. I sent the chips home with Summer. I did pretty good yesterday at the restaurant we ate at was a buffet. It had fried catfish, chicken fried steak all the typical small town buffet. I just ate a little bite of everything. Not sure what today is going to be, depends on where we go.
Your loved!

I am realizing that even with maintenance I must have some kind of goals. Of course I would love to lose more than my lowest, but I must also now get BACK to my lowest. I need goals. Without them, my range gets to large and my focus on the healthful foods flies out the window.
I think there are quite a few of us going through that now. I am guessing here - Dana and Lynnette and a few others. We made it where we wanted/or should be and so that goal determination is gone. Now what? right. Now we allow the carbs in and we still struggle with them. This week it's been rice and mac and cheese. Dear Lord, there still is no control when they are in the house.
I think at least for me, in some way I have to have a time and weight goal, not so much to lose but to STAY focused. I will plan for my Jump into June with a WEIGHT and time goal. No more excuses - it's accountability.
Rambling again. Off to focus!

You knowing about the maintenance journey being the hardest part is going to be to your advantage. You will go into it knowing that the easy part is over. It's the balancing act of adding everything else back into your life.
I do hope to see you in September if not sooner. Thanks again for building me up again and for your support. It means a lot.
Hugs.
