I've just recently started frequenting this board and I'd really like to get to know you.

Have you had WLS and if so when and what kind?
Do you have any pets? If so, what kind?
What is one personality trait that really irritates you in others?
Where would you like to spend your retirement?

Barbara Ann---My mother is Catholic and named all of us after saints (first name)---my mother's middle name is Ann
Have you had WLS and if so when and what kind? I had gastric bypass on Feb 28, 2007 and again on March 7, 2007. Oops, I sprung a leak in my pouch.
Do you have any pets? If so, what kind? We have a few birds. I'm thinking about getting a cat.
What is one personality trait that really irritates you in others? Boastfulness
Where would you like to spend your retirement? The caribbean or at least near an ocean.
What is the last thing you bought for yourself just for fun? a book....
How many people from the OH site have you met in real life? Only three people so far. I did go to the Christmas party that Charlene organized in Arlington but I'm kind of shy so I didn't introduce myself to anyone. But, I saw people that I felt like I knew from here. :) And, I'm planning to attend the conference in Dallas in September so I hope to meet a lot more people then.

NEXT time, let us know you are coming so we can look for you- since you don't have a picture on your avitar its also difficult. Believe it or not my first inclination is not to walk in a room of strangers and start talking to them-so I understand! So let me know, sit by me and I'll push us both-gently- out of our comfort zone!
