May Motivation Friday

Okay I was up at 5:30 had yogurt and fiber 1 --out to yard to prune trees and continue getting rid of ivy (it is the scurge of the earth!!) for an hour and 1/2. Inside to do some rearranging in the house while sipping on protein drink!

Out the door shortly for Sbux, errands maybe theFirehouse sub shop, coffee w/Vivand back home to set up my jewelry armoire I got for b-day!!!

Oh and last night great project. I have a wall long closet that ues to have sliding doors which disappeareed with the last tenent! Open closet 24/7 has advantages but is not attractive. Have you priced those doors!?!?!? Well, for$60 I bought tablecloths for drapes, napkins for a valance, clips and rings to hang cloth by and double sided velcro to hang "valances". now I have wall of beautiful fabric and to get in closet just fling fabric across and I ca enter anywhere along the wall! I know it sounds weird but I will post  a picture!!

Eating for rest of day- sub at Firehouse, protein bar for snack and lots of fluid! French picnic for supper with gaspacho, assorted salads cheese and a few crackers!! Not to worried about protein I will have 60 gms in by lunch!!

motivation sucks! weight sucks! eating sucks!  LOL.. okay that's whining and that sucks!

Wednesday night it was rice - last night it was that dern Kraft Mac and Cheese that was calling me from the cabinet.

this long weekend is cleaning out that cabinet and cleaning up my act.  This is ridiculous.  Scale at 157 and I've seen 151.. unacceptable.

I stayed on track yesterday.  Got in all my vit. and protein and most of my water.  I still have porblems getting in water if I must wait so long after a meal to drink.  Would someone refresh my memory on the times before and after a meal we can take liquids.  I think I am waiting too long.  Seems I remember 30 minutes before a meal stop liquids and begin again 1 hour after a meal.  Am I correct?

Today I will have boiled egg for breakfast
lunch with friends don't know the menu its a new place.  Will be very selective.

protein bar for snack

Surgeons tell their patients different things....mine was 30 before, 30 after.

My Doc says no fluids 30min before,during or 30min after!

My goal for this month was to get under 160.  I saw 160.4 one day and then bounced back up to 161.2, so still working towards it.

Got my baked chicken leftovers for lunch (have to be careful and chew well or it gets stuck) and working on my water and protein coffee this morning.

Hubby is grilling a steak on the pit tonight and making fresh corn on the cob.  I haven't had corn since surgery, so I will be extra careful with this new food.

Overall, on track for May - traveled this week for business so eating was more challenging, combined with alcohol...  Will weight tomorrow a.m. and see how I did for the week.

Otherwise, back to workouts and good eating for the weekend!  Holiday or not, still trying to get to 150 by June 13th.  We leave for two weeks in Hawaii and I have to wear a swimsuit in public - YIKES!!!

May Goals:
1. Workout 5x/week unless I start losing too much weight again. Then I'll have to adjust to keep the weight in check.
2. Wednesday, 4/22 I could barely eke out 100 crunches with 40 lbs. on my shoulders. 5/1, I did 220. By the end of the month, I'd like to be at 700. And hopefully, I'll have awesome little contours to show for it.
3. Do something that brings me joy each day.

I'm up to 650 crunches, so 700 by the end of the month is most definitely within my reach. Weight is remaining stable although it's nice to eat everything I want and not really have to think about it because the workouts are balancing it out.

I don't really see a major difference in my body, but shorts that were tight when I was in Mexico in February are just about falling off now, so I've lost inches.
