Today's plan:

How's it going for you?

Good Morning Karla,

I am still on track.  However, I may get off a little this weekend because I wil be out of town on business.  Have a safe and happy holiday!

I'm doing good still!!  Tea/water and Sonic Diet Cherry Lemonade to drink.  Getting lots of fluids in, thank goodness.  I walked 2 laps around my complex last night which works out to about 1.33 miles.  I did it in 25 min, which is a little less than a 19 min mile.  Felt great to do that!  I've also stayed close to the cal count that I want (1800 cals) the last couple of days.

This weekend will be a little bit harder since I'm less motivated to track things on the weekend, but I'd really like to see the scale move so I will stick with it.  Today is my weigh in day and I'm still at 257lbs.  That puts me at zero loss/gain this month.  I'm good with no gain, but wish there was some loss.

I'm going to work on goals for June this weekend so I have some concrete things I can see accomplished and set up some rewards for that.

*Starting weight 164.4.  Goal for May will be to reach my surgeon's goal of 160.  Ten months out and be at goal?  HECK YEAH!!  Scale is at 163.2 (AGAIN) this morning.  Maybe it will happen or maybe not.  I'm hoping that getting back on the road next week will help this along.  Trying to decide whether or not to thrown my scales in the suitcase or just wonder through the week how things are moving (or not!).

*Exercise minimum of 3 times per week.  Walking, recorded program ..... just something that has me moving.  This hasn't worked out so well for me this month and I must do better in June.

*Stick with getting 64-80 ozs of water EVERY day.  Doing pretty good with liquids

*Post on this topic each day to keep myself in check.  (Exemption 5/15-5/17 due to RYD Obesity Conference in Galveston)  Posted
*And the
BIGGIE - quit smoking.  Well, yeah this one is still a work in progress.

I wasn't able to completely stick to my plan cuz I ended up going to Denton and then to the casino but I tried to make good choices.  I had a protein drink for breakfast, a 6 inch subway for lunch and grilled chicken and one ear of corn for dinner.  Snacks were pretzels and some licorice (OK, so licorice wasn't the best choice).  Scale dropped another 1/2 lb today.  So I'm down 2.5 lbs in 4 days, I'll take it!!

Good Morning All~
My personal plan for the month of May is to just really be accountable for the foods that I'm putting into my body~With my recent medical issues, and my small everyday gains and loses I have put my scale away
No more weighing twice a day...LOL  It was adding more stress to an already stressful situation!

I know I must be losing some weight as people are saying such and my clothes are falling off again....LOL

My plan for Friday~
2 cups of Coffee, splenda and creamer (not sure I like my new creamer this week)
B~Protien Shake with banana and peanut butter
L~LC..Parmesean Fish (it is one of my favorites)
S~Fresh Strawberries, with a dolup of fresh whipping cream
D~Not sure where, but either sharing with my friend or just an appetizer
I'll either walk or do some Wii fit with my daughter!!

See you all tomorrow
Enjoy your Friday

OXO

It was great.  Did you get the recipe off of the messageboard from last weekend.  It was fast and easy to make and tasty, too!

Thank heavens it's a 3 day weekend.  I'm done shopping at walmart and home resting.  Tomorrow I  need to clean house and have a wedding at 2:00.  Sunday and 1/2 of Monday is church and finishing Ben's sr. scrapbook.  He has a grad. party at my sister's for sr's and some teachers Monday evening so I wanted to have it there for him and the other srs. to look at.

I actually went to the Betty Crocker website, and found this recipe, and tried (LOL) to make it a little more healthier!!!   I'm glad you enjoyed it, for me it is great when the kids have friends over...LOL
Sounds like you have a fun weekend a head of you!!  I love to scrapbook and usually "power scap" in the summer time!!
