How are you doing?  It sounds like everyone's doing pretty good these days.

Go  Dana on the de-carbing...anyway you get there is a good thing.  Way to go!

Plan for today: lots of liquids, at least 2 protein drinks, shrimp etoufee for lunch, unsure for dinner...won't be at home

What's your plan?

We need to think of a June name since it's 8-9 days away...what about Jump In For June?   If you can think of something better, that's great...mine's not too creative!

Lost my mind eating yesterday so started rearranging and "fluffy" and cleanig all the areas of the department. Got a great upper body workout! Kept me from getting too bad. Took in 1500 calories! Did more yardwork last night!

Ken got out the industrial gas powered weedeater for me to use! Boy do I love me some power tools and does that thing vibrate. On vacation so my eating should be really good I have lots to do!!

For june's title how about Jumpstart June or Jammin in June??

I'm here, day 3 was a success.  Ok I am feeling AWESOME on my food choices, no so well with exhaustion, I think it's mostly due to female issues....will this ever stop.  Going to call my doc again, I'm just ready for a hysterectomy and be done.

Todays plan:

cottage cheese
protein shake
marinated boiled shrimp in light Italian dressing
chicken salad
protein shake

I'm down 3.6 lbs since Monday (I couldn't wait to weigh)....hoping to hit 5 lbs by Saturday morning then I'll be just 7 lbs away from where I MUST get back too.  And who knows maybe I can get down a few more.

Just super excited right now about my choices.

I did well again yesterday.  I've lost 2 of the 4 lbs I gained in 3 days.  It's amazing how when you make a plan and stick to it, it works.  Todays plan is the usual protein drink for breakfast, ham/cheese on mini croussant for lunch and grilled chicken with corn on the cob for dinner.  Still have lots of fresh fruit and radishes for snacks.  Also plan to make some more of my low fat trash mix today.

Hi Karla,

I love the name you have picked out for June!  I am still on track and trying to remove myself from being a scale addict again.  So I have not weighed since Monday and I was down 12.  It seems like I may have lost more weight since then.  I will weigh again next week.

Ok I'm doing pretty good on not drinking my calories for 3 days now.  I've stuck with water and decaf tea and that's keeping my happy.

I've also made another change to my eating plan.  Since March I've been going with my surgeon's suggestion that I can eat a high cal menu (2000-2200 cals) and still lose weight based on my BMR.  Well, I've neither lost or gained anything significant since that time and I'm tired of that.  I'm going to drop my cal range back down to 1800 and see what happens there.  I'd like to average out to 1ish lbs a week in weight loss.  That would get me to my "goal" in about a year, which is totally reasonable to me.  I'll play with that for at least a month and see what happens.

I'm also putting together a cardio/flexibility/strength training routine.  Now I just have to put that routine into my schedule!  That's the hard part for me.

RNY on 11/15/05 with
May Goals:
1. Workout 5x/week unless I start losing too much weight again. Then I'll have to adjust to keep the weight in check.
2. Wednesday, 4/22 I could barely eke out 100 crunches with 40 lbs. on my shoulders. 5/1, I did 220. By the end of the month, I'd like to be at 700. And hopefully, I'll have awesome little contours to show for it.
3. Do something that brings me joy each day.

I'm headed to the gym after my noon appointment. My goal is 600 crunches for today.

Last night, I ended up going out with Lisa late. It was *so* good to see her and catch up a bit. That was a happy little thing to have happen in my life.

Well accountability sucks but is very needed. Came home from the weekend without much damage done, but I sure haven’t gotten back on track. I am doing alright during the day, but evening is still my downfall.   Last night, I had like rice for dinner. Had gumbo from Mom and there wasn’t much left. So I had made some rice to put in it. Well there was lots more rice than gumbo and it was goooood. Used to make me sick and I sure wi**** still did. I also munched on green olives. Oy.. what’s up with that.   Gotta get through the week and we will so how I can redirect myself and get some things cooked for next week and be fully prepared to get some good results in June.
