I just lost my whole post and am running out of time!
Microsoft office 2007...need to learn more about it...

Make sure you plan for what's going in your mouth today...it sure will help!

today's plan for me:
lots of liquids as usual
at least 2 protein drinks
chicken enchilada quiche for lunch
I planned something for dinner, but don't remember what it is!

What's your plan?  What's motivating you?

Karla

Day two of pouch test a success.  I made chicken salad today, Steph's recipe with an extra twist, lol....spicy jalapenos added and instead of using Miracle Whip I used L/F sour cream because i didn't have Miracle Whip and wasn't running to the store.

Today's plan is:

boiled egg
coffee w/Muscle Power chocolate protein.  This stuff is way to thick to drink plain.
chicken salad
lots of water
another protein shake
chicken salad again

Another day at the baseball park, and popcorn temptation.  I'll survive, lol.

I did okay yesterday.....managed to talk myself out of the potato chips several times........

I drank over 100oz of fluids yesterday including 8oz of skim milk shake.........so I feel good about that.

I walked 2 flights of stairs going to and from lunch (used stairs instead of elevator) - I know - not much - but it is a change for me......trying to be a little more aggressive on doing more excerising of some sort..........parking out WAY in the far back parking lot...etc..that kind of thing.......

I walked for 15 min during lunch period...........

I have been eating all the time for months now.......and I"m really noticing that I'm eating even when I am NOT hungry.....I NEVER GET HUNGRY..........So I try to eat something about every 2-3 hours.......maybe that is too frequent ..........I've been reading what some of you all are eating and OMG>..............I'M REALLY OVER DOING IT !!!    GOTTA QUIT THAT ....BIG TIME........THE BUCK STOPS HERE AND STARTS HERE TOO !!

Breakfast:    1 Atkins Shake

Snack:  Handful of pistaccios

Lunch:  Boston Market - Turkey Medallions w/cranberry sauce..??????  :(

Snack:  Apples and peanut butter

Dinner:  Ham & Cheese roll ups   an/dor LITE yogart........after dinner snack??

continuous fluids through the day..........

Plan on hitting them steps today........maybe 1 flight up and 1 flight down to begin (everyday ) and then work up from there ????   Is that not enough or what ???
Walking - 15 min+ during remaining lunch time.................

YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY !!

  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.

*Starting weight 164.4.  Goal for May will be to reach my surgeon's goal of 160.  Ten months out and be at goal?  HECK YEAH!!  Scale is at 163.2 this morning.  About 10 days left to knock off that last 3.2 lbs.  Maybe it will happen or maybe not.

*Exercise minimum of 3 times per week.  Walking, recorded program ..... just something that has me moving.  Going to head out for a walk in a bit before it warms up too much
*Stick with getting 64-80 ozs of water EVERY day.  Doing pretty good with liquids

*Post on this topic each day to keep myself in check.  (Exemption 5/15-5/17 due to RYD Obesity Conference in Galveston)  Posted
*And the
BIGGIE - quit smoking.  Well, yeah this one is still a work in progress.

Hi guys, I did great again yesterday.  I'm down 1.6 lbs since Monday so it's working.  I just finished my protein drink for breakfast and I'm having homemade chicken parmesan for dinner, lunch will probably be roast beef (I have tons of leftovers).  I have lots of fresh fruit for snacks so I'm all set if I just stick to the plan.

May Goals:
1. Workout 5x/week unless I start losing too much weight again. Then I'll have to adjust to keep the weight in check.
2. Wednesday, 4/22 I could barely eke out 100 crunches with 40 lbs. on my shoulders. 5/1, I did 220. By the end of the month, I'd like to be at 700. And hopefully, I'll have awesome little contours to show for it.
3. Do something that brings me joy each day.

I'm probably not going to workout today. I spent the morning at a (very useless) job fair and have spent the afternoon doing all of my usual morning job hunt activities. Yesterday, I got to 500 crunches and wasn't tired, so I kept going to 525. I feel 600 by the end of the week.

I had a great chat with my friend Amy yesterday afternoon. It was the closest thing to joy I experienced all day as I'm having a tough week.

Girl, I want to bounce quarters off your belly when you're through!!!

Sorry you're having such a rough time.  Hopefully, the perfect job will come along soon.  My hubby lost his job after 26 years with the same company and was without regular employment for 8 months.  Luckily it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to him cuz his new job is awesome.  I'm praying the same thing will happen for you (but with less than 8 months off, lol).

I was commenting to George last night, that my tummy doesn't look that much different from before. Unfortunately.

I know in the end something good will come from this. I'm just not good with uncertainty until that good thing happens. I'm a planner and not being able to plan for anything makes me insane. Thanks for the prayers. I certainly need them right now.
Blessings, Jennifer
