OT- Kris wins but Adam Rocked

Kris might of won bu****ching Adam sing with KISS and Queen made my night.  I've been telling Clay all season that Adam could join either KISS or Queen and tonight proved I was right.  I was blown away.  What a wonderful show. 

As much as I hate Kara I LOVED her performance with "bikini girl".  That chick was NOT happy!!  I also really enjoyed Lionel Ritchie and Rod Stewart.  So what did you think?

I missed it tonight as I was at a support group meeting.  But I have to say that I was shocked to hear that Kris won because I really felt that Adam out sang him last night... but on the other hand I wasn't surprised as Kris fits the Idol image better then Adam.  I like them both... but Adam was my favorite.  Crap... quess I should have voted!!!!

Kris is a great singer but Adam was outstanding..he was my guy and I thought he had it.  And I loved Kara putting bikini girl in her place..funny funny.  I thought this results show was one of the best things I've seen on TV in a long time and my husband agreed.  I just couldn't believe how one after another these huge stars were coming out.  We recorded it and I will be watching again.  On a personal note..my gastric byass is 6/3..very very nervous and ready to just get it done.   I start clear liquids next Wednesday.  Hey, I have a question up on the Q & A...what's your favorite protein supplement.  I'm trying to decide and don't have the $$ to just sink into several different kinds..they can be pretty expensive.

I drink a strange one so I don't know if this will help.  MetRX extreme chocolate.  I like it so much that I've been drinking it for 8 years. (every morning).

I was excited that Kris won.  I think Simon cost Adam the contest.  He was so sure that Adam would win and even went on tv and said so.  I think America showed him.  Plus America likes the underdog.  I really think Kris is going to do well.  I just wasn't much of an Adam fan.

Stephanie, I loved this year's show, but I don't know what I'm more disappointed about ~ Adam losing or your putting the results in the title of your thread and spoiling it for me.  I DVR'd the results and planned on watching after Emily was in bed. 

BTW, I received my Approval To Test letter today.   I am all set to take the NCLEX after the 24th.

Oh Sharyn I'm so sorry, I didn't think anyone would go near any media if they hadn'****ched the show.  Clay got a text about it while we were watching it on our DVR so it was spoiled for him too.  I had to hide from all computer stuff for 2 days after the "Biggest Loser" so I didn't find out the results before I watched it.  Again, I'm so sorry.

I was very careful about muting the TV and staying off my home page on the computer.  I purposefully stayed away from all threads about Idol, but when I came over to the TMB, there it was, like a freakin' beacon!!!

It's all good.  I still watched the show and enjoyed it.  I just didn't have that heart thumping when it came time to announce the winner.  That just means that I didn't have a sense of disappointment that Adam didn't win.  He is, by far, the bigger talent and has a very lucrative career ahead of him

Well Steph you  know I'm excited Kris won, I like the underdog, lol and he came from no where early in the show and proved he has the ability to sing.  I yelled like a teenager when they announced him as winner.  Both my sisters were pulling for him too; so all in La. in my familiar were excited. 

Like I said before Adam is an amazing singer and I think he will go super far as a rockstar, not sure if I'll ever buy his music only because his type of music isn't my type.  Of course, Blane was a little upset he was the only one here pulling for Adam. 

I didn't get to see the entire show because of baseball games but caught the last 30 minutes, I DVD'd it though and will watch it again.  This is by far the BEST American Idol ever and the next group better bring out the guns or it'll be a major disappointment for all of us.

Go Kris and Adam, you are both STARS!

I truely wanted Danny to make it.....but out of the 2 remaining.   I think America did good voting Kris.   He is wholesome !!!!    Adam is "freaky" to me.   I hate GOTHIC things.    That black nail polish on a guy and that black eyeliner on him gives me the creeps also his screaming in his songs !!!    I really almost thought he blew it when I destroyed the Johnny Cash song "Ring of Fire."    Now.....I loved his soft songs.   He does have a amazing voice and is extremely talented !!!!   I like Dana would NEVER buy one of his records.....I hate hard rock....but I would consider buying one from Kris.
