Remind me . . .

Miranda is having the TOGA surgery on Thursday. She wants me to try and follow her post-op diet with her, both to  support her and to jump-start the extra weight I need to lose.

Someone remind me of a good meal plan for full liquids please!

LYNNE-When I go "full liquids" I do 4-5 protein shakes spaced 2-3 hours a part, and LOTS and LOTS of water in between. I'm sure Miranda's doctor will give her some sort of "eating plan"...or least he better...surely..lol..You're a good mama for giving her so much support---BUT--be sure you are getting enough nutrition for YOU--okay? I usually add 4 oz milk to my shakes, so they run approx 150 cal or a shake..sometimes more if I choose to throw some fruit in there. If I go less than 800 calories I will only do it for a few days, then go back to 1000 cals. If her doc allows, pudding is sometimes allowed on a full liquid--jello nearly always is. And of course, VITAMINS go with every "diet".
