The last 2 weeks, I have been doing really great with food choices.  The scale was really starting to move DOWN, then over the weekend.........here is goes back UP!!  I started thinking about what is going on.  Well water and exercise...........my gym membership hasnt been TOUCHED this month.  With Jeff getting back to school this month and all the end of the year stuff going on (plus we are going on vacation the day he gets out of school) exercise has just not been something I have time for.

So today I have my water counted and ready to go.  I am going to rush home and run on the track for at least 30 minutes.  We have a jr high track across the street so I can go run for a few minutes...............  I have got to get that scale down before vacation or that new swim suit isnt going to FIT........ggggggggrrrrrrrrr

Hugs to all B~

Yesterday was a good day, I stuck to my plan.  I had a protein drink for breakfast, peanut butter sandwich for lunch and roast beef, corn on the cob for dinner.  Scale dropped 1/2 lb today.

Today so far I'm drinking a protein drink for breakfast and have a 300 calorie frozen dinner for lunch and I'm planning on more roast beef and corn for dinner.  Also brought fresh strawberries and a banana for snack.

I did good on not drinking my calories yesterday.  I had lots of water, tea, and Sonic lemonade.  Today I'm already drinking a cup of decaf Earl Grey tea.  I tried making some decaf regular coffee and didn't like it at all.  No surprise since I've never liked regular coffee, just the fancy high calorie stuff.

I didn't exercise yesterday, but will go for a walk this evening for sure.  I need to get back into a regular habit regardless of what else is going on in my life.

*Starting weight 164.4.  Goal for May will be to reach my surgeon's goal of 160.  Ten months out and be at goal?  HECK YEAH!!  Scale is at 163.2 this morning.  About 10 days left to knock off that last 3.2 lbs.  Maybe it will happen or maybe not.

*Exercise minimum of 3 times per week.  Walking, recorded program ..... just something that has me moving.  No formal exercising lately.  Lots of pacing the hospital halls last week and some stair climbing at RYD, as well as walking around and hanging out at the pool area of the resort.

*Stick with getting 64-80 ozs of water EVERY day.  Doing pretty good with liquids

*Post on this topic each day to keep myself in check.  (Exemption 5/15-5/17 due to RYD Obesity Conference in Galveston)  I haven't done as well here as I did last month, but it's been way crazy around our house the last 3 weeks.

*And the
BIGGIE - quit smoking.  Well, yeah this one is still a work in progress.

RNY on 11/15/05 with
May Goals:
1. Workout 5x/week unless I start losing too much weight again. Then I'll have to adjust to keep the weight in check.
2. Wednesday, 4/22 I could barely eke out 100 crunches with 40 lbs. on my shoulders. 5/1, I did 220. By the end of the month, I'd like to be at 700. And hopefully, I'll have awesome little contours to show for it.
3. Do something that brings me joy each day.

I'm keeping up with my workouts and am at 450 crunches (before heading to the gym today - the plan is for 500 today).

I'm still too emotional about losing my job so the joy thing isn't working very well. I don't think it's news to anyone that I lack the ability to truly relax, but this is definitely worse than I thought it would be.

Doing the 5DPT here so nothing exciting BUT I didn't cave into popcorn at the game last night so it was a SUCCESS.  This is the first time I really felt hunger with the pouch test.  I'm sure it's due to the carb cycle being so vicious this time.

I'm not craving carbs today, in fact soup and liquids today are much better.  Scale was down some this morning but I'm not going to focus on it just yet....at the end of 5 days I'll see if the changes helped with any weight loss.  I know it's helping with mentally and physically wanting so many carbs which is the main reason for me doing it.  Although I NEED to lose this regain as quickly as I can, I want to go shopping :).
