Ok!  I can't believe I'm the one that got the train started today!  Where is everyone??  The holiday isn't intil Monday the 25th!! LOL!

Well, it looks like I'm going to be at the Byron Nelson on Saturday!!  The energy strips I sell... well there is a guy in Dallas who is a limo driver and is in contact with all the radio stations and they do all these events.  They let us tag along and even give us space to set up!!  How cool is that??  Oh, btw, the new products they introduced on the 16th are an appetite suppressant, and a calorie burner!  I haven't tried them yet, but I"m thinking, hmmmmmmmm.......

The air conditioning people came out to mom's house yesterday to install the unit into her new building.  Talk about a bunch of hard-headed men!!  Mom told them where she wanted the unit and they put it by the door anyway!!  She told them that when the door swung open, it would hit the unit, but they couldn't see that until Therese showed them (after they installed the unit) what was happening!  She explained to them that it could damage it and that it needed to be moved!!!  They didn't get it until she demonstrated it to them.  They kept thinking she was worried about damaging her door!  Dumbass men!  (Sorry guys!  But you have to admin, when you tend to think that women don't know what they are talking about when it comes to two things, cars and construction!) Geesh!!  Anyway, they are coming back today to MOVE the unit to where Mom wanted it in the first place!  She's getting frustrated at playing contractor and having men not pay attention to her or take her seriously!  You know what I mean???

Well, gotta go take my shower!  The work doesn't do itself, unfortunately!!  Have a great day!  Love ya!

Good Morning My TMB Family,

Laura how nice to see your face this morning, and a little purple to run this thing.  Have not seen my Purple since our Tanya dissapeard.  Thanks for getting us started.  Had a nice day yesterday.  Went to get bloodwork done, then visited my husband a little while then came home and caught up on stuff I had Tevo'd.  Oh and I also walked 3 miles.  I got an email yesterday from someone who is interested in buying the Honda so we will see.  THey are new to the base and we are supposed to meet tonight.  I really am hoping this will pan out, then all we will need to do is sell the truck.  If that happens we will be looking at a mnivan.  It is really time for me to get working on this house, and start to get it ready to sell.  Even if I just do one room a day.  Not much energy these days though.  Will have to force myself.  Today I am going to have coffee with a friend I have not seen in a couple of weeks, after I walk, then home to I hope start working on the house.  I sure am enjoying all the pictures of Galviston.  Kind of makes me feel like I was there.  Sure looks like you all had a good time.  I think I need to make a trip to Galviston before we leave Texas.  It looks so beautiful.  How fortunet you all are that live there.   Well Mark is up, time to get his coffee and spend a little time with him before he leave for work.  Prayers for all those in need.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.   Michelle

Good morning, TMB!

WOW!  I can't believe I am at the front of the line!!!

With no functioning tub/showers in the house, I am headed into the gym to do some cardio and a shower.......Those that know me know what a NON-Morning person I am so this is a bit stretch for me.  I figured since I need to shower up I might as well go jump on the recumbent bike and get the heart rate going this morning.  Darned good thing it's fixed in place!!! KWIM??

Had Jury Duty yesterday and was sent down to the Municipal court.  Got picked for both juries on the docket yesterday - both guilty and we fined 'em both.  Interesting day getting a late life civics lesson.  Kinda interesting in that the D.A. stayed after and asked us if there was something that caused us to have questions that he could have answered when putting on his case.

Ok, gotta get into the gym clothes and head out.  Everyone have a fabulous day!!!!!

Good morning all!! Supposed to be another beautiful day. Yesterday I started a case at the nursing home in Grandview. They put us in "The Family Room"-full wall of windows that over looks a garden-very pretty-made you almost feel like you were outside. I sure didn't think the little 93 year old lady would live thru the night, but there's no message on my phone this morning, so I'm planning to go back to her today.

Already did 20 minutes on the elliptical-till I thought my heart was gonna explode, so I stopped...didn't want blood all over Richard's gargage.

***OOPS*** Spoke  too soon...agency just called...my lady just died...Uniform is ironed and make up is on...I'm next in line for next assignment, that may or may not happen..BIG sigh..CRAP

Gonna go do some laundry from the weekend and then catch up on some TMB happenings..

I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!

Hating the limited cardio with the stupid broken toe.  Did get some weights in last night.  Since I had my heart rate monitor on I could watch as the calorie count dragged by.  After a 90 minute work out I only burned 126 calories.  Crap!  I can usually get more like 500ish.  Better pull back on the calories till I can move again or I'm gonna blow up like a balloon at circus.

Thursday afternoon I have  apre-op apointment with the surgeon.  On the 27th I'm having my re-occuring endometriosis taken out and possibly my right ovary as it's sometimes up to 4x its usual size and it hurts.

Hope to see some of you Wednesday night at my house for support group meeting.  Even if you came to the Sunda meeting this month, feel free to stop by.  The discussion is always different (due to attendees) and its nice to see/meet people.  630pm and the topic is Emotional Eating part 2...we're talking about the physiological cause and how to overcome it.

Counting down the days.  This week cannot be short enough.  Memorial day where are you?

TAWNYA-please forgive me-I kept forgetting to ask you how you were feeling. I know you were putting YOU off until Rodney was feeling better. Plus, I kinda hate to start to start a conversation with "So, T-how are those reproductive organs doing?"...I truly am glad you've made an appt. I've never had endometreosis myself, but have seen women suffer very badly with it. If you're not planning on using that "equipment" anymore-get it ripped it out-the "playground" will still be there (a 60+ old patient told me that once-cracked me up-I never forgot it)

Gina, that "playground" thing gave me a chuckle!!  My life-long best friend's mom had a hysterectomy back when we were teens and she said "Girls, just because I sold the baby bed don't mean I don't still have a playpen!"  .... I've never forgotten that and when I had to have my "baby bed" removed in 2007 I think that's what got me through the bad days!

tawnya,
I soooooooo wish i could attend your support group meeting. The emotional eating is something i think definately needs to be a topic of discussion at one of the next conferences!!
Good luck with your appt and upcoming surgery. I have had 4 surgeries for the damn endo myself and know how miserable that crap can be. I so hope this brings you relief!
