Monday WLS express
Good morning everyone,
Had a good weekend in my neck of the woods. Dad and I are still trying to find our new normal. It's a process and we are taking it one step at a time. The biggest thing is being able to say, lets go do, and just getting up and going. No planning ahead needed.
Matt has been my rock and I really appreciate that. Don't know what I would do without him right now.
Saying prayers for all of you. Have a great week.
Annette,
It's such a blessing that your able to be there for your Dad. Your right, it will take some time for him to adjust to being able to go and do. I don't know what my Dad is going to do when Mom is called home. He has been taking care of her for the past couple of years and now really is her primary caregiver. I know that he would not have it any other way. I'm so glad you have your Matt!
Your loved!

WOW! What an awesome weekend!!! For those that could not make RYD this time, save your pennies, nickels and dimes for the next time!!!
Even though the San Luis was fabulous, there is nothing better than sleepin in your own bed, KWIM? I slept so good last nite and got to sleep in late today; I have jury duty at 8:45 this morning.
Tub guy will be back today - we are having the tubs reglazed and they ran into a lil issue. Well of course they did it's our dumb luck - seems the tubs had been refinished before but the old finish has to come off first. The usual stipper won't work so they have to go get an industrial strength stripper in NW Houston [2 hours away] and won't be back to work on the tubs until noon. So, I'm without a shower / tub today and tomorrow and I hope that's all!!! Guess I'll be showering at the gym until our tub-showers are all done.
Gotta get my butt in gear. Hope everyone read Dana aka cajungirl's post to the train above. Take your VITAMINS every day, no matter what.
Eat your PROTEIN first!
Drink at least 64 oz of water!
And Move to Lose everyday, somehow, someway!!

Today I'm heading over to the EDS main campus to get my ID badge and meet the Plano folks on my new team. Depending on how the drive is I might see about moving my office up there if they will have me. Still hoping that eventually I'll be able to work from home at least part of the time.
Tonight is Support Group in Allen and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. I need to work in some walking time, so if we don't have a big group I might suggest we take our support group on a field trip around the outlet mall.
Tomorrow we're taking the dogs in to a new vet and I'm hoping he has some suggestions for Nigel. Since Friday he hasn't been able to go up or down the stairs so we've been carrying him. He's walking ok, but not putting much weight on his back right leg. We've been giving him aspirin which seems to help some, but I'd like to know for sure what's causing the problem and hopefully fix it.
Make today a great day!

I've got my spiral notebook, didn't even have to spend the $2 as I already had one. My first baby-step goal is to get my liquid in the form of water and not soda. I am fessin up that I still sip on sugar-free, caffiene free, soda. It is true.....THE BUCK STOPS HERE.....AND NOW ! !
