I agree with the others.  Thanks so much to Yvonne, Ramon, Debra and Sean.  I am motivated and know I need to be here to keep on track.  It was crazy fun and I met so many wonderful new friends.   (Hello LIZ!)  I will be posting pictures on my profile soon.  But -- here are a few to start ...

Those that have lost 100 pounds or more!!!

Damg, I wish they had done the post-op group shot at the Dallas RYD or the Houston OH events too ..   The last time I think it was taken was at the San Antonio OH event and I was too shy to be in the pic for the "200 lbs. lost" group back then  .

btw,  is that Mazie in the white muscle shirt?    Who's the lady in the black and red?   She doesn't look familiar ..

Paul, There was a group pic taken at the Dallas RYD. I remember being in it. You missed a great conference.

Doube rats, then, Robin  ..   It was probably during the closing, and I think I missed that part of the event ..

Speaking of missing the event, Sean seemed to hint in earlier post(s) that RYD might have another Dallas event later this year ..   Did any talk about that possiblity come up in Galveston?

Sean was focusing on this event. One event at a time.I am sure in the future there will be another event, but to the location, I think they focus their location and timing to the physicians, after all they are big part of this. Why didn't you show up???? I saw a post that you were going to make it.

I had everything planned to leave Friday, except, in order to be able to take the day off for a 3-day weekend (our firm was moving locations that same weekend - ugh), I ended up working straight through from Wed-early Friday a.m. w/o sleep.   That left me too exhausted and sick to make the long drive down Friday!

btw, do you know if Debra make it back O.K.?   I don't think I've seen her post since the event.

I doubt it will be this year.  These events are a HUGE undertaking and it drains their energy to the point that they are only up to one a year, even with all the help they have.  The burden to pull it off is still on their shoulders.

As far as location - they have to have a sponsor to subsidize the cost or nobody would be able to afford the hotel and conference fee.  Dr. L. stepped up (THANK-YOU !!!!) and not only made it affordable and possible, but was also a VERY gracious host!

Yes, that's Mazie and the chick in black and red is Amy.  Sorry you missed out.  It was a blast.
