Today I am grateful..

For the great conference that Yvonne, Debra and Sean pulled off.. I am just a name.. Just how amazing was it..

For unexpected happenings..

For things working out..

For The changes going on in my life..

For day one being over.. I am back on track..

Although I was unable to attend (it was my intentions), I am grateful to you and the RYD team as well all the organizers and volunteers. Hopefully, next year, nothing will come up two weeks prior to prevent me from attending.

Grateful today that one of my best friends is FINALLY out of pain and living in Heaven.....so hard to give her up !!! Grateful that my son's prom is over and that I survived the all night after prom party ( project celebration )....grateful that we had a good time at Spring Creek on saturday night in spite of the fact that we all wished we could have been in Galveston at the RYD. Grateful for my health, WLS, family, friends, and God and not all in the order listed. Grateful for this post that Ramon posts daily to remind us that we have so much to be grateful for each day !!!

I am grateful today for many things: 1. That I woke up this morning and God gave me another day to impact someone’s life. Today is the first day of paying it forward daily, that is a new goal for me. If I can just affect one person in a positive way daily… I want to be the ripple as Ramon says. 2. For my friend Jerry – I met her at a local support group and she is more than a friend now, she’s like family. I thank God for her and that she has sent her my way! Love you girl. 3. For all the wonderful people that I met this weekend at RYD and for Ramon, Sean, Debra and Yvonne for putting on a great event. I learnt so much about myself and had a wonderful time. 4. For my family and children. Thankful for many other things too but since I am at work I will keep it short! Love the TMB and thankful to OH for having it around. You guys/gals are the greatest!

151lbs lost since surgery. 36lbs pre-surgery !
Total today is = 187lbs lost !!!

Today I am grateful for......

1)being blessed with a wonderful husband who supports everything I do,

2)meeting such wonderful people at RYD 2009,

3)learning something new about myself (MaryJo really helped with that), and

4)learning from others

I'm also thankful to you too Ramon for being honest with your feelings and making me realize that it's ok to not be perfect; it's what you learn when you make mistakes and then choose to handle it differently/better next time. RYD was great! It was my first time to go to something like this; I learned alot so now it's time to practice!

Ok, I HAVE to ask [the devil made me do it] would that be the "how to breathe" part?!?!? You KNOW I had to!!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to visit with you.....ya know, Hempstead isn't that far away....maybe we can do a "half way" meet up with some others in the Houston area sometime OR if you find yourself in Galveston, give me a shout!!
