Good evening all.  What a wonderful evening it is!!!  I know a lot of people are revitalized from their experience at the RYD Conference.  I hope everyone made it home safely.  My reason for joy is my TEXAS RANGERS.  MY FIRST  PLACE  TEXAS  RANGERS!!!!  What a great weekend for them!  Sweeping the Angels.  And with a shutout today.  This team made a statement.

Enough baseball.

Meant to say congrats to *IT*, Cruise Director Julie, or Jennifer (take your choice) and Mikey.  Your Wings have a good chance to win it.

Prayer requests are listed below.

I do ask that you keep me updated on requests.  Often.  Please.

Also, please feel free to just visit here.  Tell us about how your day went.  Your successes.  Your failures.  Your fun.  Whatever.  When I post this thread, I do not have access to any chat programs, so this sometimes substitute as that vessel for me.

Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness.  Please thank God for these men and women every day.  In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

Three wonderful people - Ramon, Yvonne, and Debra - are having their conference in May (15-17) in Galveston.  Also, pray for Sean as he assists them.   Prayers for a successful weekend of paying it forward.

PEOPLE SEEKING EMPLOYMENT:

James - Phyllis' "friend"
Jennifer
- (Cruise Director Julie)
Nina

Those who are not yet unemployed, but layoffs are looming

Anne -(Lalocaweta) - Please pray for her as she undergoes treatment for a medical problem she is facing.

Cindy Mc - a coworker has a 5 yr old son who was diagnosed at 3 with Metastatic Retinoblastoma.  He lost his right eye, but through chemo and radiation it was thought the cancer was gone.  It is back and spreading in his brain.
There is no cure and they are treating him with some oral Chemo medication right now. I am just asking that you pray for Isaac Xavuer Vasques-Grimmett. He is a precious little boy who has been through a whole lot of difficult times in his 5 short years. We are praying for a miracle but if we can't get that... For God's mercy and grace to keep this precious little boy and his family from suffering too much. Update:  Isaac is on his way to St Jude's to try something.  Please continiue prayers.

Dana - requests prayer for her family.

Debra - has been put on no work by doctor due to memory loss that is related to recent hospitalization.  Also, with the no work comes less pay.  Prayers for the financial side of the situation.

Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2.
She has improved, but still needs our prayers.  Pray for this brave little girl.

Janet (1divaatheart) says her husband's tumor is shrinking (Praise God!).  She does need prayer for herself and her family, as her father has entered hospice care due to his cancer and her mother has been hospitalized for her Altheimerz.

Jodie requests prayer for Raymond who is having a cardio cath on 5/13 in the morning.

Karen (Misty750342002) - A friend of Karen's from work (who is like a son to her), Dustin Murphy, is 24 years old and has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease.

Prplecat asks prayer for her health battles as well as the family's move to Wichita Falls.

Vicki V.  - husband Patrick continues to have health problems.  Update on Patrick.  His most recent diagnosis from the neurologist is Ataxia and Neuropathy of the left side.  Which basically means he has virtually no feeling in his left leg and foot - probably the results of both a broken femur (more than 30 years ago) and his more recent heart and lung surgeries and the bed confinement from all of those.

Vanessa (Butterfly Reborn) - requests prayer for her family.  There were no specifics, but I am sure the Lord knows.

Vanessa - We have all followed the story of Elizabeth.  Here is her Caringbridge page:

So where is Jenn, Liz and Jill tonight?  Guess I'll be #1 in replying, lol, before I quickly go to bed.  Long weekend and tomorrow is back to work so I am ready to get a little sleep and begin another week of work, homework, baseball, house stuff, laundry and the list continues.  Life of a mother, good thing there are joys in there too or it wouldn't be fun :).

Hope work isn't to busy for you tonight George.  I've been waiting for all those lucky people that went to Galveston to get home and post pictures but it looks like it'll be tomorrow before that happens.....the pics I saw though were fabulous, the San Luis is simply paradise in Texas, lol.

Had to leave the house with 20 minutes left on Survivor.  So I will watch it in the morning when I get home.  From what I saw, I believe JT will win.  He took Steven to the final two with him.  Then Steven was stupid enough to say he would have taken Erinn if he had won the immunity.  Survivor is all about lying fool.

Saw the first ad for Big Brother tonight.  Another one I enjoy.

Hey George;

Not much to report. It's been a very low key weekend here. I'm not having the usual Sunday night freak out so that's good. When I woke up this morning, the first thing I thought is every morning I wake up I'm one day closer to going back to work. I tried to let that thought set my tone for the week. Hopefully this week will bring good things.

Thanks for the congrats on the Wings. Today's game was stellar! I hope this series is over in 5 so the guys can get some rest before they move on. I'm not into baseball much, but I'm glad your Rangers are doing well.

Prayers for all who need them. G'night.
Blessings, Jennifer

Hey George...
Just hoppin' on for a few...would have been on sooner but holy smokes, was sicker than a DOG earlier and had to just lay down for a few.  Made the big error of taking a huge drink without even thinking right after I finished eating.  As soon as I swallowed tha****er I said, "oh man you dummy, what were you thinking".  Of course I had my mind going in 15 different directions so WASN'T thinking.  Within like 10 minutes, I started feeling yuck to the point where Paul even said, "hey, why don't you go lay down and I'll get you up later to do lunches"!  Would have been nice if him and the girls would have done them but hey, I could handle that after resting a few hours.  Feel MUUUUCH better now!!!

Had some MASSIVE drama in my house today that I wasn't expecting to deal with.  Heather had this EXPLOSIVE dramatic episode with her sister at lunchtime.  OMG I thought I was going to have to put on the kickboxing gloves of mine just in case.  I had told Paul yesterday that I had this strange feeling she was going to have some kind of a blow up because she was just doing/saying very vendictive and mean things towards Viktoria.  I know one reason was Viktoria got her hair done in an "up-do" for her 8th grade dance and just looked spectacular.  Heather was horribly jealous and refused to compliment her.  Viktoria couldn't have cared less, which then made Heather even MORE mad.  Viktoria is very easy going and thankfully for me has just so little drama in her life.   If someone doesn't say/compliment her on something, she flat out couldn't care less.  She walks to her own beat and for the most part, couldn't care what the "Jones'" have in their back yard which is GREAT for her.  Heather also cannot stand the fact that Viktoria earns a lot of academic awards.  Of course that puts me in a very bad catch 22....I have to be careful what I say around Heather, but still find a way to praise Viktoria for her accomplishments - uh, not too easy to do!  Viktoria also recently got bumped up to the "Masters" group at tennis - something Heather was never able to achieve.  Speaking of bumping up, get this, Sarah got bumped up AGAIN to the next level in tennis!  WOOOHOOO!!!  A lot harder, but she will probably continue to improve quickly as they are such little sponges at this age!!!

Glad everyone had a fabulous time at the RYD Conference.  Hope everyone got home safe and sound and got out of the conference whatever it was they needed to get out of it, which of course is different for each person.  That's really what makes them so unique and great to attend!

Ok, probably should try to go back to bed!

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall to see how Mama handled the explosion.  And to hear what Daddy was saying as Mama said I will take care of this.  LOL.

So funny about the "I'll get you up later to do the lunches".  I immediately thought, before reading the next sentence, that the comment was coming from you.

Congrats to Viktoria and Sarah for their tennis accomplishments.
