Thanks for cranking this up Danni.  It was 12:30 or so when I got to sleep last night and I slept until after 7:00; wish I was still asleep!

Did okay yesterday; got the munchies last night.  I was down another 1/2 lb. this morning, but I know it wasn't as much what I ate, but all the exercise I got decorating for the prom!  I'm down 4 lbs. for the month of May...yeah!!!!

Today's plan:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks
will probably grab something for lunch after more decorating
prom food for dinner: meatballs in sauce, tiny cheesecakes; chocolate fountain w/ fruit to dip in, chicken salad sandwiches, meat/cheese tray, etc.

What's your plan, and is something motivating you?
The idea of putting my chunky butt in my swimsuits for the beach trip in late June is motivating me!

I'm not sure I have a "plan" for today.  Most of my meals are going to be out and about so I have less control over the actual food.  However I will commit to focusing on protein and fruits/veggies.  I had a bit of a carb fest yesterday, not too bad but more than usual and didn't track it.  So, I've already loaded up FitDay with my breakfast and will come back and put in my other foods as they happen later.

Think I'll go hit the treadmill this afternoon since it's rainy out, though if it stops long enough I'll just walk around the complex a couple of times.

it's something Debbi, Tim and I came up with for the days when I burn way way more cals than I can eat

1 -1 1/4 cup water (you could do milk but I am very unpredictable with milk)
1 cup frozen blue berrys
4-6 frozen strawberrys
1/2 - 1 bannana
1/4 cup pnut butter
1-2 scoops chocolate protien powder ( I use EASb/c it is cheap and works for me )

blend till smooth but VERY thick - divid in half - you can either let the kids drink the second half or freeze it

it has enough cals, protien, carbs and fat to hold me with working out and nursing
when my day has been not as active I use half the pnut butter and fruit and only one scoop of protien powder

My protien is low also.  I went and bought some more powders and RTD today so I can commit to drinking a couple shakes a day.  I really can't get in enough protein without shakes and since I've been eating more other stuff my protein levels have fallen pretty bad.

I also need to increase my A, D, and Calcium.

What RTD did you get?  I wondered if you've tried those new Believe lattes or chai teas yet?  I really don't want to order a $30 case until I try a single.

First off the Optimum Nutrition was on sale at GNC for 21.99 regular $32.99.  I bought a new Double Chocolate and of course Vanilla Ice Creme.

Then I bought the Worldwide Pure Protein that Meggie talks about ~ 1 chocolate, 1 vanilla, 1 strawberry.  The were $3.39 each, kind of high but not any more than I paid for AchievOne (which I haven't had in a long time and I hear the new version isn't as good).

Nutritional Info on the Worldwide Pure Protein - this is for the Strawberry Cream  (the things I consider when buying)

Calories 160, Fat 1 g, Saturated Fate .5 g, Total Carbs 3 g, Sugar 1 g, Protein 35 g

The one thing I usually require of a RTD is whey isolate, this one doesn't have it, it's made with Milk Protein Concentrate, Calcium Caseinate)  Made with milk and soy products.  Not sure if this would be something I'd use often because of 1) price and 2) protein type (whey isolate is easier absorbs from what I have seen)

Then I bought something call Muscle Power.  I've never heard of it but liked the nutritional info so thought what they heck, lol.  These cost $14.98 for 4.

Nutritional Info ~ This is a 17 oz protein shake, 1 serving size per container (might be better to split it in 2, that's allot of shake)

Calories 250, Fat 6 g, Saturated Fat 1.5 g, Total Carbs 9 g, Dietary Fiber 6 g (wow), Sugar less than 1 g, Protein 40 g.

The types of protein is what caught my eye as it includes 5 different types of protein ~ Calcium Casseinate, Milk Protien Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate, Micellar Casein).....it's also per the packaging Lactose Free.

Since I'm going to start the 5DPT on Monday morning with a coworker AND my protein level is on the low side I am determined to become faithful with shakes again.  And, since my biggest problem sometimes is mixing then I want some RTD.  Otherwise I'll make them with the ON powder.

Sorry for the book, lol.  I also sent you an email earlier with some info to read.

Oh and I'll send you info on my latest labs.....FYI my lack of compliance is showing, no deficiencies but drops in several areas.

I haven't tried the Believe lattes yet, I wanted to but the shipping is astronomical.
