Okay folks, how are you doing?  I haven't even had a chance to look at posts from yesterday.  Sorry!  Late night at the school yesterday.

I'm still down 3 lbs. from the beginning of May.  I got plenty of exercise decorating the gym yesterday.  Eating was good.  Hope today is good, too. I know what I'll be having:
Lots of liquids
2 protein drinks
2 tamales w/ chili and cheese for lunch
pizza or subway sandwich for dinner at school
2 cookies

What's your plan?

RNY on 11/15/05 with
May Goals:
1. Workout 5x/week unless I start losing too much weight again. Then I'll have to adjust to keep the weight in check.
2. Wednesday, 4/22 I could barely eke out 100 crunches with 40 lbs. on my shoulders. 5/1, I did 220. By the end of the month, I'd like to be at 700. And hopefully, I'll have awesome little contours to show for it.
3. Do something that brings me joy each day.

I've been busy. Yesterday I had a phone interview with a company in Dallas. It's a job I'd really like with a good company. Please think happy positive thoughts for me. They've already told me that they want me to come up for an in person interview, they're just trying to figure out scheduling.

I've been getting my workouts in. Yesterday was 400 crunches and I am doing them in 4 sets of 100 so I'm definitely making progress from when I started.

After my workout yesterday, since I'd done all of my job seeking stuff that's required by Texas (to qualify for unemployment), I treated myself to 2 hours at the pool with a new book. I took a bikini I hadn't worn since last summer. I'm starting not to recognize my body again. It's changed shape so much in just over 3 weeks, I can't believe it. It really does show me that if we set our minds to it, we can achieve anything in our new bodies. My butt which has always been my least favorite part is starting to get a great shape to it.
Blessings, Jennifer

Grrrrr enuff said.  I'm seriously thinking the 5DPT is the only way I'll get myself to decarb and refocus.  I know some don't care of it but it helps me.  Others can flame away that it's unhealthy, a gimic like pre-WLS, etc.  It is a tool for me like anything else that helps.

Do what you have to for yourself to be successful.  Don't worry about those who don't think you need to be doing 5DTP.  Hang in there!
