Calling on all you wise people for advice
I can't really give you advice, but I can tell you that all Dr.'s and opinions about this topic will vary from what I have read on the boards!!
I think Dr. B allows diet sodas with our diet, but personally I don't like the diet stuff, so I just quit drinking soda all together. Granted I didn't do it until Sunday when I started my liquid diet, but I know how bad the cravings are. Today I'm doing better with it, and just think about how m surgery is monday and I really want to be over the caffiene withdrawls when monday rolls around!!!
So, I BET you will get tons of different responses. I can tell you, that once you have 1, you are going to want to keep drinking them... or at least this is what happens to me. I can not moderate drinking sodas at all... so I just don't have them!!
I think you should do whatever you feel is right. I think the biggest concern I can think of is the gas in the soda upsetting you... maybe try it flat, which is something I hear some people do... Thats the only thing I got for ya!! Hoepfully others will post!!!
Hugs to you!!
B~

My Dr said to stick to the diet stuff. Unfortunately the carbonation kicks my bands butt so I have to let it sit there for a while.
If ur Dr says its ok, why don't u try one of them mini little cans? Maybe that will satisfy ur craving.
But not sure how "strong" u are on ur temptations. U know, once a food addict ALWAYS a food addict...
Hugs,
Monica
U tell me that I sin,
U say Im bound for hell,
So once ur judgment condemns U,
I SHALL SEE U THERE.
I'd rather be an OPEN sinner
than a FALSE saint...
