I'm physically tired this morning.
Mom bought me plants for my flowerbeds for MD, and Matt did most of the labor as his gift.
I cut the hedges, raked the trimmings, and we planted all afternoon. In a couple of weeks we'll buy some castlewall and redu the borders.

Annette, sorry the kids were remiss in celebrating Mother's day with you. My guess is that they didn't mean to skip it, but are probably not sure how to deal with your family's loss, and are thus staying away.  I know it doesn't make it suck less, but that's probably what I would have done at their age. They're just not mature enough to understand that you're hurting more than they are, and  you need them right now.

I will probably not be able to make the memorial service, but know that I'll be there in spirit and that we love you.
