Good Morning Train!

Woooohoooo for Monday Morning Workouts that are DONE! LOL  I hope everyone out there had a wonderful weekend, I know I did!  My newest grandkid is due any week now and we thought for a while there that she was going to make a Mother's Day appearance but it was false labor.... oh well, she'll get here in her own sweet time....

Prayers are going up for all that need them!

Here's Terry Jacks' Seasons in the Sun to get us moseying on down the tracks this morning!

Goodbye to you, my trusted friend.
We've known each other since we're nine or ten.
Together we climbed hills or trees.
Learned of love and ABC's,
skinned our hearts and skinned our knees.
Goodbye my friend, it's hard to die,
when all the birds are singing in the sky,
Now that the spring is in the air.
Pretty girls are everywhere.
When you see them I'll be there.
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun.
But the hills that we climbed
were just seasons out of time.
Goodbye, Papa, please pray for me,
I was the black sheep of the family.
You tried to teach me right from wrong.
Too much wine and too much song,
wonder how I get along.
Goodbye, Papa, it's hard to die
when all the birds are singing in the sky,
Now that the spring is in the air.
Little children everywhere.
When you see them I'll be there.
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun.
But the wine and the song,
like the seasons, all have gone.
Goodbye, Michelle, my little one.
You gave me love and helped me find the sun.
And every time that I was down
you would always come around
and get my feet back on the ground.
Goodbye, Michelle, it's hard to die
when all the bird are singing in the sky,
Now that the spring is in the air.
With the flowers ev'rywhere.
I whish that we could both be there.
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun.
But the stars we could reach
were just starfishs on the beach

Ya'll have a great day my friends!

Hello,  It has been a while since I have posted on the train.  Hope everybody had a good mothers day.  Sounds like for some it was not.  I got up hubby brought me a breakfast of strawberries and blueberries in bed.  Then I got dressed and went to Tioga, TX.  Lynette knows where that is.  For decoration day at the cemetary.  Then home and watched movies and took a short nap.  DD had to work all day so we finally went to dinner around 8.  She took me Sat after she got off work to have our nails done together.  When it came time to pay she put the wrong card in her pocket.  She put her ATM card instead of her debit card in her pocket....lol...mom had to pay.  But then we laughed.  She put cash on the table for me on Sunday with a purse.

All in all it was a good day.  Sat planted Asian Jasmine in my beds in front of the house for ground cover.  Man am I sore.

This is a sleepy lazy Monday.  But can't curl up since I am at work.  For now I still have a job that is a good thing.  I am thankful for that.

Guess I better get back to work.

Well... It's Monday...Again!  We had a great Mother's Day.  We went to see the new Star Trek movie and then to JJ's Oyster Bar for dinner.  We were also celebrating my Dad's Birthday which we didn't get to do in April when he turned 79.  Great day, GREAT Movie!

My gourds in my garden are sprouting out all over!  I can't wait to see them growing!  And I have tomatoes budding out on the 5 plants that I have!  Wow, I think I went a little crazy with the tomatoes!! This gardening thing has bitten me big time!  I'm even crazy about Farm Town on Facebook!  Is that place addictive, or what??  LOL!

Well, I still haven't heard about San Diego.  He emailed me and said it would be a few more days because he was having problems contacting one of the applicants and that hopefully, he would let me know this week.  You know, I'm to the point that if I get it, ok... if I don't, ok too!  I guess I'm tired of getting my hopes up just to have them dashed against the rocks!  My expectations have lowered somewhat as far as jobs at the the Postal Service is concerned.

Anyway, better get to work.  Remember your vitamins, protein first, and drink plenty of fluids!  Have a great day!  Love you!!!

Good Morning My TMB Family,

Great song this morning Karen.  Not sure how you do it, get it up Work out , and then play DJ.  You are amazing.  Hope all you Mom's out there had a great mothers day.  Eric and I went to church and then when we got home, Mark took me to get my new glasses, and the to Jonny Corino's for dinner.  Had a half a bowl of potato soup, ordered this great chicken and could not eat it.  The soup was good, but after that my stomach hurt so bad I could not even touch the chicken.  Yummy lunch for this afternoon I guess.  I ended up having a little yogurt last night and that was about it.  Mark and Eric got me a really nice digital picture frame, so I had fun last night putting pictures on it, including lots of my wonderful family from Dallas.  It holds 2000 pictures so got lots more to put on.  Supposed to go and see the Pshych this morning but I sure dont feel like it.  Probably all the more reason I should go.  Got that funk again and dont much feel like going or doing anything.  Ok as my Mom would say need to turn that around.  Wish I was heading to Galveston this weekend, but life has other plans for me, as I commited to Relay for Life and it is  good cause so I need to do it.  Still trying to seel the car or the truck.  Every time I think maybe the car might be sold something happens.  Please pray that we will be able to sell the house and one of our cars.  Well guess that is all from this end.  Prayers for all those in need this morning.  Special ones for Annette and her family as they go through this hard time, Ms Lynnette,  Mark, and all those preparing for the confrence this weekend.  I can not even begin to know what it is like having to put together a huge confrence like this.  Gina, did you all get to church yesterday morning?  Was thinking about you!  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle
