Thyroid Issues

I received a call from my PCP today. The nurse stated that I needed to follow up with the md about my lab work results. She also stated that my thyroid test was abnormal and the doc wanted to put me on meds. Any ideas???? Any suggestions????? I've never had any issues with my thyroid (not that I know of) and I've never had to take meds.

Please go to an Endocranologist that specializes in thyroid issues; did your PCP say if it was hyper or hypo????
Wishing you all the best

By "thyroid test", I assume they did the standard trio of blood tests for that?   It can be important to accurately diagnose the nature of your thyroid problem ..   If they didn't test all 3 factors, I'd ask them to do that before going the next step ..
