I tend to go a couple of weeks without loosing anything, and then I'll drop a couple of pounds. I'm still having a hard time getting all the protien and fluid in the same day, even though I'm a year out. I think if I could get all my protien and drink at least 64 oz of water, I would loose more. My goal is 140, but I've been wondering how many pounds of that is excess skin. I also find that my seasonal allergy post nasal drip can make me very nauseated since my RNY. Even though they are a little pricey, Metromin****er makes me feel a little better.

I've had a phenomenal 2 weeks, with 7 lbs lost during that time -- and no clear idea why. In fact, I had a big serving of full-sugar, homemade strawberry shortcake for Mother's Day with my family. But by and large I am sticking to the rules (with the exception of getting enough water, which I've never seemed to be able to do).
The numbers on the scale aren't meaning as much to me right now as the fact that I am now DEFINITELY in a size 16 ... not just in some stores, but everywhere. This has opened up a whole new world of shopping. It both amazes me and ****** me off (as a recently former large-size shopper) to see how good women who can wear "normal" sizes have it. Sizes 0 to 16 have SO much better selection and prices that we ever had in the large sizes, even though so much of the population wears 14 and up.
