May Motivation Sunday

Happy Mother's Day...let's motivate ourselves to do as best we can today...it seems it's another special day that revolves around a big breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Yesterday was a pretty good one.  I had 3 protein drinks, chicken and rice for lunch, some trail mix, just a crappy dinner...2 egg rolls, chimicurras and 2 cheese sticks from Jack in the Box after decorating for 6 hrs. for prom.  We were too tired and out of leftovers.

The good part is, I was down 3 lbs. today...yippee!  I guess the exercise of getting up and down and walking back and forth across the gym was a good thing!

Plan for today:  2 protein drinks, lots of liquids, bbq for lunch w/spinach salad, corn casserole, and mashed potatoes.  I'm sure I'll sample the desserts.  For dinner I have a steak for Ben and I to cook and share.

Hi Karla - I'm down another 1/2 lb, but I'll take it.  Been traveling for work the last 4 weeks straight which has really thrown my eating a curve ball...

Today - we're going to a seafood restuarant for Mother's Day, so it will be fish and veggies for lunch :)

B-Protein shake
L-Grilled fish and veggies
S-Fruit
D-grilled pork, beans and veggies (leftovers from last night) 

Good news is I can be completely back on track with both food and exercise this whole week.  Sadly, that excites me!!!  :)
