Help!!!
I was told that it is a combo of the surgery and the anesthesia - I lost more hair than anyone I know - litterally had bald patches the size of a nickle - we were living in the desert at the time so I shaved it all off and wore hats and when it grew back it was thick n healthy as ever
Home is where the army allows me to live with my husband
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail

I started losing hair at 3 months out, stopped at about 7 months out. It all seems to be growing back...but my hair lays REALLY funny with all the little short stuff growing back in! I added a biotin supplement to the other vitamins. Also, this might be a good time to get a shorter, layered cut if you've been wearing your hair long. Makes it look a little thicker!
Biotin, which is a B vitamin helps some. Nioxin Shampoo and Conditioner helps some also, you have to get it from a professional salon. I used the Nioxin and didn't have much hair loss.
It last about 3 months and is due to anesthesia and forced malnutrition (which is basically what we do initially out of surgery). Try not to stress about it too much, a shorter cut with layers from a good salon will help tremendously.
