Oh absolutely.  You know, for the first time EVER I actually caught myself after I had shut my eyes while driving back home from taking my sister back to the airport.  I scared the heck out of myself so jacked up the A/C and stopped to get myself a SBUX tea.  Not something to fool around with.  I'm sure it was for a second or two, but that was a second or two too much for me!  Sometimes those drives home can be mesmorizing!

Evening all,

Not much new in my world, just a weepy DD, she has one class that will keep her from being on the all A honor roll for the last semester.  Her history teacher gives no extra credit, and doesn't give many lectures (from what she has indicated) just expects them to read the history book.....  "No Mom I don't want you talking to him", hummmm, well then you better be reading and studying more....  you know you are going to have this more and more as you get older...  Beating my head against a brick wall tonight...  I know ya'll have been there done that....

Thank you for those that said a prayer for my friend Samantha.  Her appointment today at Scottish Rite hopital confirmed she just has a very deep hip bruise, it will just take some time to heal.  She is 12 and lives and breathes basketball, so prayers being said for a quick recovery.

George, hope you make it through the evening-night...  don't be driving if you're half asleep!!  I will gladly join Mary and Jill in kickin' your hiney!!!

Prayers for all of the spoken and unspoken requests.  Special healing prayers for Lynette's mom, Annette's mom, Nina, Mark and as always Miss Elizabeth Grace.

Blessings to all,
Avis

When my daughter was in high school, she was all A's all the time.  The third semester of her junior year she got a B in English.  It broke her heart.  But I was proud of her, she said she took the class for granted, figured it would be easy as all the others were to her.  The second portion of the junior year was some heavy reading.  The next semester.  Back to an A.

They get over it.   And they learn.

Thanks, appreciate your post!  Please be safe!!!  Please have a nap, or have someone come pick you up after work time is over!!  No napping on the freeway, that would not be a good thing!!
