Pediatric Eating Disorders Clinic in Dallas
Didn't even know young kids had these type of disorders, but this article says they are on the rise among boys. Good to know there is an in-patient facility for their treatment:

I'm a teacher and we have a little boy at school that is a little "special", he used to be quited chubby but now says there is something stuck in his throat and so he doesn't eat.....not much anyway. I would say he has lost about 15-20 pounds this year. He is in second grade. Makes you wonder......

Thanks for posting this. My poor little guy has put on so much weight in the last year. He's four and I take him to his pediatrician next week for a fasting lab. I'm sad about it as I was worried when I was pregnant that I would fail him in this one area. I don't make a big deal about it at all. I always tell him he can do anything, do unto others, etc, etc, etc. I never want him to judge others. Hopefully we can find out what is causing the weight gain. One doesn't go from a 4T to a boys 6 as fast as he did.
