Thursday WLS express

Good Morning My TMB Family,

Well it's almost Friday...We have no big plans for the weekend.  Soccer game on Saturday afternoon, and then Church on Sunday.  I am hoping my DH and DS will take me out to eat for mothers day but we will see.  Money is tight these days and have so much to do around here.  Today is National Day of Prayer and they are having a little ceramony here in town at the park this afternoon.  I plan to attend.  One of the men from our church is going to be speaking.  I am looking forward to it.  The rest of my day is free....I plan to clean and do laundry once again!  Seems the laundry is a never ending chore.  I skipped my walk yesterday and did 45 minuets on my WII fit and today I am feeling it in my arms and legs.  I guess that is a good sign.  I will walk today.  Per some advice from Stephanie I am trying to shake things up a little.  I made SF snickerdoodles the other day and I really should no better cause they taste so good, and go down like nothing.  Think I will send the rest of them to work with Mark, then I am not tempted.  There are some things I just cant resist and they are one of them.  THey call my name every time I walk into the Kitchen.  If ya'll would do me a favor and keep my Mom and Dad in prayer as they head back to Massachusetts today.  Every year that trip from Florida to Mass gets longer and harder for them, but they do it anyone.  Tomorrow night they will be with My Marine for the night.  Lucky them.  Ok its about that time.  Prayers this morning for Lynette and her Mom, Anette and her family, Mark so glad he is home, Liz although I love the fact that you started the train for us this morning...GO TO BED and try and get some sleep.  Laura, keep us posted about that job.  If they are smart they wont hesitate to hire you right away!  Danni, I can only imagine the emmotions going on inside you right now.  I am not sure I could do it.  You are such an insperation to the rest of us Military Wives.  I am here if you ever feel like chatting!  Time to get Eric up.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

Thursday, great, weekend is near!!  DD is flying to Wisc. this a.m. on business.  Have to go to her house in a few mins.  SNL went back to work yesterday and seemed it make it alright.  Hope he didn't overdo it.  I'll be staying over there tonight cause he can't lift the girls at all.  Got to get moving.  Y'all have a GREAT day!

Good morning, TMB!!

Quick fly by today.  Counter-tops should be installed in the kitchen today - WOOHOO!!!!!  Then we have to get the plumber out to hook up the sink, disposal and dishwasher and the kitchen, except for the island, is all back together. 

Prayers for all the folks healing physically and emotionally, and jobless this morning.  Prayers for the caregivers.....I feel your pain!  Special prayer for Danni and Tim - thank you, Tim for your service to keep us all safe!!!

Don't forget - PROTEIN first, VITS, WATER and EXERCISE - work that tool you worked so hard to get in the first place!!!

Tim will be a geographical bachelor. for the next 4ish years - and that is ok - we have lived apart before and are still very in love and together

today will be a good day - dressed for the gym, have a yoga book to take with b/c I am all kinds of tight from not streaching good -yes I do know better thank you very much
then enroll K in summer school. clean the car out good and vacume it - then home emplty the van and repeat
hair cuts and library after school - then belt testing for the boys -teen is excited since one of his group is testing for black belt and so it will be a LONG  testing - oh well he doesn't have to get up to early tomorrow

other than that just laundry, house stuff and time with the hubby untill we get to deal with more army stuff - at least we have gone though all his TA50 (army issue crap you are to keep up with and responsible for) and it is all in decent order.

Just a quick note this morning.  Will read later.

Astham is bothering me and I feel like my hed is going to explode.  Headache may be from the asthma, when it gets bad enough and I'm not getting enough air this happens.  I'm seeing the practitioner at my docs office at 930am.  They think I need another round of steroids and maybe a shot becuase I haven't fully recovered from the bronchitis of two weeks ago.  I hope it works!

I am feeling tons better.  No, not 100% yet, but I was able to use the stairs again.  I have been taking the elevator since I couldn't breathe from the bronchitis, but today, I took the stairs.  Woohoo!!  I'm still coughing some, I'm still congested some, but that's lingering allergy stuff that won't go away any time soon.  Unless we ban all trees, grass, flowers, you get the idea. 

Life continues at home.  Mom is mom.  Dad is adjusting.  He's trying to research more so he understands more.  It's confusing for him still. 

Britt has Prom on Saturday.  She's excited.  Senior year is winding down.  Her boyfriend is looking into joining the Navy like Josh.  Britt wants to work for NASA so she is still trying to decide what to do.  Terry, I told her she needs to visit you this summer for a tour.  And not just of the beach.  LOL.

Have a super twisted Thursday.  I like that one Alissa.  Saying prayers for all, especially my John-John today.

I'll see what I can do about getting her onsite; if nothing else, I'll get her a VIP ticket / tour thru Space Center Houston!!  My cousin is the HR director at Space Center Houston - nice to have family in high places!!

Good morning Train Riders!!  It's another fun day!  I've got some conference calls today that will eat up some time at work.  We had a meeting with our soon to be manager with EDS yesterday.  Sounds like they really want to integrate us quickly, and hopefully it will end up being a good thing.  It's definitely going to be interesting during the transition time.

Tonight I've got a few things on my to do list.  I've got to head to Walmart to pick up some groceries.  I've finally run out of some things and I must replace them.  Then I need to go down to the gym for at least 20 min, hopefully more, but I'm being realistic with my time.  I'd also like to get some more boxes unpacked, but that may have to wait till we get one more shelf. 

I'm happy to report that I've been off my blood pressure meds for a week and my blood pressure has been picture perfect.  My doc wanted it to stay below 135/85 and the highest it's been was 117/73.  Woohooo!!  I can finally stay off the meds so the only thing I'm taking are supplements.

Good Morning OH Family!

Mom is doing well, she still is bed ridden, but her spirits seem to be good. Hospice nurses have been really nice and they just love both her and Dad. I'm staying with Mom while Dad goes to the store and runs some errands. He won't leave her side. They have neighbors that would love to sit with her while he runs errands but he doesn't want to leave her. Going to take my niece out to dinner tonight to celebrate her HS graduation. This is Mark's youngest kiddo Shelby. I bought the book The Shack yesterday and started reading it. I'm 1/2 way thru it. Easy read and inspirationl. Well I better get going. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Prayers for John for healing. Continued prayers for Debra and Mark. Please take a moment today to realize how blessed you are!
