Good evening all.  It is a wonderful evening.  As of right now.  I am awake and ready to work.  Got my ESPN Gamecast on so I can track the Rangers game.  Everything is rolling in the right direction.

Join on in and say hi.

Prayer requests are listed below.

I do ask that you keep me updated on requests.  Often.  Please.

Also, please feel free to just visit here.  Tell us about how your day went.  Your successes.  Your failures.  Your fun.  Whatever.  When I post this thread, I do not have access to any chat programs, so this sometimes substitute as that vessel for me.

Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness.  Please thank God for these men and women every day.  In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

Three wonderful people - Ramon, Yvonne, and Debra - are having their conference in May (15-17) in Galveston.  Prayers for a successful weekend of paying it forward.

PEOPLE SEEKING EMPLOYMENT:

James - Phyllis' "friend"
Jennifer
- (Cruise Director Julie)
Nina

Those who are not yet unemployed, but layoffs are looming

Brenda F.  - has some hernias.

Cindy Mc - a coworker has a 5 yr old son who was diagnosed at 3 with Metastatic Retinoblastoma.  He lost his right eye, but through chemo and radiation it was thought the cancer was gone.  It is back and spreading in his brain.
There is no cure and they are treating him with some oral Chemo medication right now. I am just asking that you pray for Isaac Xavuer Vasques-Grimmett. He is a precious little boy who has been through a whole lot of difficult times in his 5 short years. We are praying for a miracle but if we can't get that... For God's mercy and grace to keep this precious little boy and his family from suffering too much.

Debra - has a couple of tests on 5/5 to try and determine complete cause of her problems.

Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2.
She has improved, but still needs our prayers.  Pray for this brave little girl.

Jodie (Jodieblonde) - asking prayers for her friend Melissa and her family.  Melissa's mother is in the end stage of Alzheimers and the family has been called together.  Also prayers for Raymond's best friend's  family.  He lost his father to cancer on 5/5.

Karen (Misty750342002) - A friend of Karen's from work (who is like a son to her), Dustin Murphy, is 24 years old and has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease.

Stephanie (tickledpink) - friend, Dutch, was in a motorcycle accident.  Arm broken in 3 places, surgery on 4/27.

Vicki V.  - husband Patrick continues to have health problems.  Awaiting results from neurological testing. More tests are upcoming this week.

Vanessa (Butterfly Reborn) - requests prayer for her family.  There were no specifics, but I am sure the Lord knows.

Vanessa - We have all followed the story of Elizabeth.  Here is her Caringbridge page:

George....I have a very dear friend that has cancer and it was in remission ( lung cancer ) she went to the doctor in March for a routine checkup and they did a scan and the cancer is all over her and she has a HUGE blood clot in her heart that they can do nothing about.   They gave her 2 months to live.    Her daughter called me on monday night and told me this.    Her 2 months are up this month and she is not doing well at all.   Please keep my friend Mary Ann in your thoughts and prayers.   My heart is broken with this news.   Pray that she will stay pain free till God decides to take her home to heaven.    Thanks and hope Mary is feeling better !!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Hey big bro....
Just sittin' here catching up on emails and trying to get stuff together for the girls' day tomorrow.  I've got a tad of a headache, just due to clinching my darn teeth though.

Had my quarterly bug spraying done today.  I hate it when I have to pull everything away from the wall (I know I already ranted on you about that whole mess earlier in an email) but do it anyway.  With spring comes the little bug-a-boos.  We had some flying ants in my bathroom.  Yes, ants with wings and NO, they were not termites.  I showed our bug guy and he said, "nope, those are your basic flying ant".  Just more of a nuisance than anything else.  Welllll, they have somehow found their way from the upstairs to the downstairs kitchen and I am occasionally finding them...dead, on the floor.  Thankfully they are dead, or just about dead from today's spraying.  Just a complete hassle keeping everything closed up and constantly cleaned up.  I hate bugs.  Hate, Hate, HATE bugs!!!  EWWW!!!!

Paul and I chatted today about seeing Dr. LoMonaco after I get back from my summer trip up home.  With this warm, humid weather, my legs swell and they are very uncomfortable.  We are going to schedule the inner thighplasty for January.  I know that seems like a long time away, but it will be nice having the date set and as we all know, the time really does go fast.  I know I'm going to be STUCK to that recliner again, but it will be ok.  I survived last time!  Thankfully you as well as a few others are night owls so I'm sure I'll be posting a lot then.  Long time away though so for now, will have to stay uncomfortable!

Trying to plan to get to Galveston on Friday night.  Unfortunately cannot get to the two day RYD as DD#2 has her 8th grade dance that evening and there is just no way I could get back in time to get her to the hairdresser, etc.  Then on Sunday it just happens to be my week to cook for Heather's church youth group.  Again, I can't come home late afternoon and quickly cook for 20 people!!!  I'm bummed but told Paul I really wanted to get down there for the Meet and Greet Friday night.  Guess I need to get in touch with Yvonne to see if that is possible!  Debra needs to stay focused on Debra right now as her health is first and foremost!!!

Guess I'd better go make a couple lunches!  Check back with ya' later!

What you really need to convince Paul is to get you unlimited texting by January.  LOL.  Mary burns that up.  But I am almost as bad.  Last month she sent/received over 650 messages.  I did over 700.  But you have to understand, I have ESPN texting me every time there is a run scored in a Rangers game or Mets game, as well as the score every 3 innings.  That mounts up to over 40 texts some nights.

Oh good grief George....I couldn't handle my phone beepin' at me 40 times in a night!  YIKES!!!    I was listening to the Astros yesterday afternoon making error after error until I got so sick of it I shut it off, then somehow they came back and tied it at like 10 runs each, but then the game was officially postponed until like JULY because of weather!

Paul absolutely HATES texting.  He gets them from Sarah's soccer coach and swears every time they come in.  He told his brothers he didn't have it so stop sending them to him!  His phone is a dinosaur though plus he just doesn't want to do that, he'd rather just call someone!  Someday he'll jump into the current century!!!

Hi George,

I just thought I would stop in and say hello before heading off to bed.  Tomorrow is the day Patrick goes back to the Neurologist.  I hope we get some answers soon.  Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.  Don't work too hard tonight.

Goodnight.
