Good Morning My TMB Family,

My WoooHooo today is that my Marine got a job working with NBC in Washing DC when he gets out of the Marines in a few weeks.  I have been so worried that he would not have a job to go to.  He last day with the Marines is thee 18th and then he is going to MA to spend his birthday with his grandparents, and his brother.  He is taking the baby so that will be nice for everyone.  When he gets back he will have a job to go to!  I am really proud of him.  Hopefully today will be a better day then yesterday.  I am going to babysit for my friends son from 10 - 2.  I look forward to it as he is the same age as my grandson.  Tummy has been really bad the last few days.  Have a call into the doctor in Dallas, but he is out till Friday.  His nurse did say she would be talking to him and would get back to me.  So guess we will see.  Thanks to everyone for the great advice yesterday.  I think today instead of walking I am going to come home and do the WII.  We are supposed to be getting some wicked storms so just as well to be home.  Liz I sure wish you could sleep.  I'm telling you, you need to head to Burkburnett and come spend some time in the Hot Tub and just relax, let someone wate on you for a change!  Not much time left to do that you know?  Prayers this morning for Lynette, Mark, Annette, Que and all those that are unspoken. Laura good luck with that job interview this afternoon.  I have no doubt you will ace it.  Please keep us posted. Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

Well I did get more than 1 1/2 hours of sleep and I'm tired as all get up.  Sleeping here hasn't been the best either, and I think I'm coming down with something.  Head hurts, feels like my ears are full of fluid and I'm nauseauted; just what I wanted, grrr.

Liz I don't know how you do it I'd be one mean biotch if had your sleeping problems.  I'm grumpy on theses days I don't get enough sleep and I've slept a little over 5 hours.  Lately I've been wanting/needing around 7.  Guess tonight I'll take a Lunesta and hit the bed around 8 or so.  Hubby is home tonight so that helps.  The extra money he is making right now is great but being a single mom is tough.

Eating was way better yesterday, I actually log everything into fitday and I even passed up a Reeses because I didn't want to admit I ate it.  Twice I picked it up and put it down.  I did eat 1 M&M and a fig perserve last night.  Didn't even think about the M&M just popped it in my mouth and after realized I'd eaten it.  Hoping I can do as good today as yesterday, I'll post my fitday on Karla's post later.

Good morning all!! I got up, with the alarm, planning to go back to the cancer patient Ive been with the past 2 days, but the agency just called..my pt just died peacefully, a few minutes ago. I always feel a little "cheated" when I can't be there "at the end". STEPHANIE probably feels the same way when she's been all thru labor with someone then has to miss the birth. This was a real sweet family, but I sure won't miss their 3 pack a day cigarette habit...whew...my allergies will be torn up for a month...a small price to pay, in the long run, for getting to do something I honestly love! Now, I'll go iron the scrubs I already had laid out and wait and see who they call me for next. If no call today, I may have to clean this nasty house (hope they call me to WORK...lol)

My WOOHOO for today is that ven though I was cooped up the past 2 days with people who had LOADS of food, cake, junk food, etc, etc and loved to play "feed the nurse" I ONLY ate the PLANNED stuff I had brought with me. That's a MAJOR accomplishment for this GRAZER....AND I drank lots and lots of water AND took all my vitamins-I had filled my daily ziplock bag ad kept with my b/p cuff and stuff. Just goes to show, I CAN do stuff, if I PLAN correctly. Without a plan, I'm SUNK!!

My PLAN today is to try to program my Garmin training watch-it's all charged up and waiting-no doubt I'll get it so screwed up it will take TRACEY and LORALEA a month to reconfigure it! I also want to start in on my "Beck Solution" book and workbook while my mind is in a pliable place.

Who all from the train is planning on going to RYD? Comiong Friday or Saturday? I've seen the dinner list, of course, but not sure how many of those actually going to be at the hotel. How many guys panning to fish? You know that last question NOT coming directly from ME..lol

okay...coffee calling...will check back in  bit...gotta catch up on your lives, ya know!!!

I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!

We are going down to RYD.  We are leaving on the 14th.  Staying at the hotel on Friday and Saturday nights.  Don't know where we will stay the other nights.  Thought it would be easier on Tom if we took 2 days down and back.

He is not up to a fishing trip, don't know what he will do while we meet.

This will be the longest stretch I have had off in 3 years that was not an emergency or medical related.  I have 5 full days away from the office.

I WILL BE RIDING THE ROLLER COASTER AT KEMAH.

QUE-Richard said to be sure you know he's not talking "deep sea fishing". WE can't afford THAT kind of fishing!!..he just means off a pier somewhere..easy stuff. He promises some quick, easy trips, if TOM would like to go.

Now that sounds good.  I know Tom would love to be on a pier.  Just not too much walking or he gets kinda weak...

Gina,

I'm going.  I'm looking at airfare again.  I get so sleepy when I drive by myself, I may just fly.  Will take the same amount of time but will require someone pick me up at the airport and get me back.  I can probably manage that. My plan is Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Got a new swimsuit but not sure I dare wear it.
