Tuesday WLS express
Tonight Ben and I have the Nat'l. Honor Society Banquet...They'll announce the Top 10 grads...Ben isn't one of them for sure. He might, but probably won't make top 10%...in Fall semester was dangling from them by 2 kids...unless someone else failed or made bad grades, I don't think he'll make that. He says he doesn't care because he got in A & M and that was all he wanted! I'm fine w/ it too, but it would have been nice!
Prayers for Stephanie's fever kitty, Mark, Susan and family, Lynnette's family, and Annette's family and all others who need our prayaers.
Have a great Tuesday.

Well, another day with all three girls. I'll be ready for tomorrow to come so the older two can go to MDO! Not much else going on today. Am still a little sluggish from those sleeping pills. Could use a nice nap during the day, but that won't happen. Y'all have a good one.
Blessings,
Carol

Good morning all,
I am feeling alot better physically today. Cough is less, head is less congested. My dog was very upset this morning so I think my mom had a fitful night but I slept through it so got a pretty good nights sleep. I don't think Dad did but I'll deal with that tonight. I have a really cute picture of my dog curled up under my covers this morning. She didn't even come to the door to tell me goodbye. Poor thing, she feels the stress too and tries to help me out and protect me. It's really sweet. Mom was different yesterday. Much more childlike, which is easier to take then Sunday's behavior. My dad thought she was better until she was airplaning her french fries to her mouth at dinner last night. I think he's getting it more and more. He did make calls yesterday and is having someone come out this week for an evaluation. He's making progress which is helping with my stress level. I really appreciate all of your support here. It does help. Thanks.
I took Britt to the doctor yesterday and we will have dinner tonight with her best friend and mom to go over plans for their graduation reception. Britt graduates one month from today. Were did the time go? I'm glad I am so close to my kids and have taken the time with them over the years. But it has gone so fast. WOW. For those that didn't see my separate post, I am gathering emails to send an evite for Britt's reception so please, send me your email address. I would like to include those of you that know Britt.
Saying prayers for all of you. Have a great day.
Got to run, love to all

Good morning Train Riders! I'm going to post and hope I get back to read later. I'm completely out of touch with everyone and hate that, but life is busy right now. Reader's Digest version - the move went great, unpacking continues, work is busy and frustrating dealing with the transition. Hopefully things here will settle down soon, but I'm not really counting on that.
I'm hoping/planning on visiting the new gym at the apartments later this week. I've run out of time the last few days, but as our apartment gets put back together I should be able to work some time in. My scale is still in the trunk of my car, so I'm not sure how it would say I'm doing, but I'm feeling good and able to do the stairs with no problems.
Prayers up for everyone that needs them!!

Good Morning OH Family!
Drinking my last cup of coffee before heading to Lufkin to see Mom. Suppose to run into a few storms, just going to take it slow and easy. Going to stay a few days and be back in time to spend Mother's Day with my kiddos.Took Rick to the Dr yesterday and he has acute bronchitis. Put him on a different stronger antibiotic.Should be good stuff it was $10 a pill and that's with insurance! Told him if he does not keep falling apart on me I'm just going to take him out back and shoot him! lol Well I better get going, it's a long 5 hour drive. Continued prayers for Debra and Mark. Prayers for those of us that are dealing with aging parents.
Your loved!
Lynnette
Wow, some heavy reading this morning. So sorry to hear there are so many struggling with weight and diet issues. I know I've let the carb monster back in BIG TIME. I'm like Dana, I keep saying "tomorrow" I'll stop. But tomorrow never comes. I also KNOW the key is accountability-posting daily and logging my food. I havn'e logged my food since Feb and geez guess what? I haven't lost a pound since then either...see a connection? OK, 'nuff said...moving on.
Miss Kitty, Dory, is doing SO MUCH BETTER!! In fact she JUMPED on me 3 times last night while I was sleeping to "talk". Very loudly I might add. Then this morning she snuck outside and I had to go grab her and throw her in my bedroom. She absolutely HATES her bubblegum flavored amoxicillin. Makes her foam at the mouth and everything. I'm just so thankful that it was only a bad fever that caused all of her issues.
I tried selling a bunch of stuff on e-bay and have taken quite a beating. I sold 5 SCRUB TOPS for $9.99 last night-by the time they take my fees out, it will be less than $1.25 per shirt. I paid like $15-20 each for them. I also sold a pair of $35 Crocs for $8.99- goes to show how bad the economy is right now. Next time I'll just donate them someplacefor the tax deduction.
Better get ready to go to Walmart-it wouldn't be a day off if I didn't go there. Safe traveling for our Lynnette and prayers for all those struggling today.
