RYD Event Announced

I am SO GLAD you are coming !!!!  I was afraid I was going to have to do Sean's clothing exchange by myself !!!! 

Well I would love to go but am not going to commit because my plans never seem to work out.  And with the way my life has been the last year I just never know what's next...so we'll see is all I'm sayin. lol

well as the last part of RYD to post....lol...had to buy a new computer this weekend and didnt get it till late sunday....

RYD is going to be great this year.... I have never been to the San Louis since its so expensive but since we have several of our own Texas board people why not have it in a place where there is so much to do.... the beach, moody gardens, the strand, etc....

We are going to have vendors like last year, and stuffed goodie bags, a great clothing exchange lead by Sean and his group....

Once we get the list of speakers we will start posting...

Lets make this a huge success and have fun and some learning and hanging out....

I believe Terry T is going to plan a Sat. night dinner in Galveston - more details will follow...

Wow, what a great deal. I am looking forward to attending my 1st ever WLS conference. Thanks Yvonne, Debra, and Ramon. You have all been such great inspiration. Being that late in May, I should be able to attend since most sports will be done for the year. Sure hope to see many of you on the beach.

Gurrrl....it is real nice.  My sister had the penthouse suite for her wedding day/honeymoon back in 2006 and it was a very nice, spacious room.

I would love to go to this.  Can you please tell me what this is, what we do there.  I am vsg, and my best friend is lapband.  I am intrested in clothing exchange as well.  please let me know what all this intells.  lola

There will be more "official" information coming when they get the details finalized.  There will be speakers to listen to, you will get to meet a bunch of folks on this board in person at the Meet n Greet Friday night, there will be vendors with protein samples and other goodies. 

The clothing exchange will be set up in a room somewhere and everybody will be bringing in their clothes to drop off and go through the piles to see if there is anything they want.  You can help yourself to whatever you want - any clothes not claimed will be donated to charity after the event.

It is a wonderful way to meet up with others who have had WLS - RNY, lapband, VSG, DS - there will be people from every type of surgery there.

It is well worth your time to come !!!!

I am hoping to be banded in March.  I have skimped the post and could not tell if this would be beneficial for lapbanders as well. 

Please let me know your honest opinion.  I'm to knew to know a whole lot and definitely need to learn a lot more.
