It's Rodeo Cook Off Time in Houston!!!

Hello All! My family is apart of a cook off team called Big Bertha Y Los Amigos, and we have a couple of upcoming events!

This weekend at the Courthouse on Wallisville ( Northshore Rotary Pavillion) we will be having a free cook off to promote the Rodeo Cook Off in February

Location:
14350 Wallisville Rd
Houston, TX 77049

Dates:
Friday 0/16/09 5pm-11pm
Saturday 01/17/09 Noon-11pm

Our tent will be serving Fajitas on Friday Night, and Barbecue on Saturday. This cook off is free and most of the tents are open to the public with free food and drinks. I am posting a flyer along with our tent info below for the HLSR Cookoff.

HLSR Cook - Off
Each sponsorship pass is $35.00 a night and it includes: Entrance to the tent only (Does not include entrance to actual grounds), Meal, and Beverages. Food will be served Thursday and Friday from 6pm-8pm and Saturday from 5:30pm-7:30pm

Sounds good! I will only be out there Saturday, usually I go both days but Miranda gets sick so easily that I think it will be to cold to have her out there Friday and Saturday but we should get there about 4ish on Saturday so just call me. Hope you feel better.

I was really thinking about wearing the red lace ensemble but its going to be way to cold out there and being that there are so many men that go to these things, I really don't feel like having to fight all of them off...LMAO! Not to mention I would have to pry Miranda out of the car because she would totally be embarrassed.

We actually have a group walk scheduled for the 24th in clear lake I believe but we could totally make a day of it with maybe a movie or dinner?

I HAVE to go put in an appearance at my former place of business on the 23rd. It is my OFFICIAL last day there and they are going to make us jump through hoops to get our final checks and severance pay. Azzholes! I don't know when I will be able to get out of SM to head to Htown, probably not until Saturday morning. So maybe afternoon??? What kind of walk are y'all doing and where in CL?? I am probably going to be staying in Seabrook/Taylor Lake. Remember, I am unemployed so we have to do things on the cheap!!! Dunno when I'll have a job again and UI won't kick in until the week after that. SUX to be unemployed!!!
