Do you know who would take Molina medicaid for baratric in Dallas tx area

Ok so I live in Denton Texas and have medicaid Amerigroup will they take that? Do I have to live there?

Younan Nowzaradan Houston Texas 713 661 6262 Unfortunately probably 75 percent of doctors that "thought they want to be Center of Excellence Doctors" once they found out what the payment is they pulled out of it . Medicare pays the hospitals well btut eh surgeons gets about 850.00 and if the patient has complications within 90 days it is lumped into that fee as well. Plus Medicare will not pay for a seond surgeon to help so they must pay the second out of the 850.00 so with Medicare patients being high risk anyway most doctors will not do it. The numbers are gettting less and less daily. I wish you luck.

I don't know for sure about Medicaid in TX for WLS, but I do know that for Medicare to cover, it has to be with a surgeon who is certified as a "Bariatric Center of Excellence".  I know there are several in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area who are, as is Dr. Warnock in Wichita Falls, TX (but he does not do laproscopic RNY).
