getting close
Hello everyone, and let me start by saying I am so glad you all had fun in Arlington, I so wish I could have been there...Glad to see everyone made it back home safely also..maybe next time I will be able to attend also..
My surgery date is getting so close and I am getting sooooooooo scared. I have total faith in my surgeon and the hospital he uses. But I am still scared to death. My hubby, kids, and parents are being so supportive, but I can still see the fear in there faces too, even though they wont admit it to me...
I have no angel but my hubby said he would try and post here why I am in the hospital, not sure how he is gonna do that since he has pretty much refused to leave my side, but we will see...
I am gonna go for now, I hope everyone has a great week, and if you have extra prayers for anyone, I would certainly appreciate all I can get between now and next monday, May 24th......
Thanks to all....and GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!

Sheila, you'll be fine. We sure wish you could have been with us. Stay busy to keep your mind off of it. I'm getting a hysterectomy in two weeks (I'm 3 years post op) and I didn't think much about it for the whole weekend because I was so busy at the conference. I'll see ya on the other side.

Hi Sheila............you've made the best decision to have WLS and yes, it's okay to be scared and nervous. I think most of us experienced those pesky nerves. Rest assured, you'll do just fine. Follow your surgeon's instructions and all will be well. My prayers are with you, the surgeon and your family.
Hugs.......
