Topic: It's been a long while..
I've not been on this board in a long time. I've been out of touch with my band, so to speak. I had my surgery in March 2009, lost over 50lbs, and then go pregnant. I had to have my band loosened because I was throwing up alot during my pregnancy. I gave birth to a sweet little boy in Feb 2010. I've since not had my band tightened back up and gain more than what I had lost. I am now at a point where I'm mad at myself, and tired of being tired. I'm at my highest weight I've ever been in my entire life. I've got an appt with Dr. Morton on Wednesday to have my band filled. I'm ready to get back my life. I've got 3 kids that need me and I need my energy! I don't know if any of you remember me or not... but I really need all the help I can get, to get back into the swing of things.

hi. i live in blountville. dr. watson did my surgery, but dr. hodge operated on me 2 weeks ago for another matter. he is so caring, thorough, and a wonderful dr. you are in good hands. hope you get approved soon.

hi. noticed your dr. is dr. hodge. dr. watson did my surgery but i had emergency surgery for some stuff that happened 2 weeks ago. dr. hodge did that and he was wonderful. yeah i have noticed there isnt much posted on here. i would love to find a local person whos had wls to talk to. no luck.

I've finally lost 50lbs since surgery as of today, 66.5lbs from my highest:) I wish my weight loss was much faster, but I am thankful for every lb I've lost so far. I can tell I've lost in the way my clothes fit, but I still don't see it when I look in the mirror. I'll be glad when I can tell. I think I've gotten some good info regarding my slower weight loss that I can share with you hopefully at the meeting next month.

Dr. Houston at CMC www.clswls.com does revisions - I bet he would suggest to give malsorbpion like the ds but keep your RNY pouch.

Hi everybody, well I finally put away my 24-26 sized clothes. Never to wear again. 
It took me a long time though to get them in that trash bag !
Anyway I was going to give them to good will but, if any of Ya'll need them, they are actually really nice clothes. I live off of I-40 near Knoxville. Let me know if anyone wants them and I can meet you or drop them by. I would rather donate them to someone on this site that needs them first rather than someone I don't know !
Right now I"m in a size 22 ish.....I would be in size 20 jeans except for my big stomach flap ! Darn thing won't let me zipper smaller pants.
Also if any one has size 20-22 clothes they want to get rid of I'm game !!!

Hi Everybody,
I need to know a good surgeon in Nashville who does revisions. I had RNY back in 2005 and have gained quit a bit back. I never did reach my goal and was a slow loser. I have anemia issues and I'm taking liquid iron for it. Thanxs for all your help
