I am in the Franklin area. I will be stopping by here often to check on things, let me know when the little one gets here. My daughter is expecting her first. I have two beautiful busy grandsons, ages 3 and 5... almost 4. They are my oldest son's. I love being a grandma.
I guess you have had your band adjusted for the pregnancy? I know they can do that. But I don't know much about the band. I couldn't live with a band inside me forever and doing the adjustments so I didn't consider it as a solution for my weight.

Unfortunately I had to reschedule my appointment last minute because my daughter became ill and needed to be seen at her doctor in Vanderbilt. It was rescheduled for April. I'm going to call every couple days though and see if they had a cancelation I can take. Thank you for your kind words. I'm trying to do what I can until I get to see Dr. Morton. My fiance and I joined the YMCA on Friday. I brought my gym clothes with me to work and will go straight there when I get off.

As a side note… Laura, Please do not be mad at yourself. When I look back at what was or might have been, I become ineffective. I get bogged down in unresolved guilt and anger.. So the first thing I (Trina) has to do is get rid of the baggage of condemnation. Oh my when I get rid of that heavy load my journey becomes so much lighter.

What is a “liver shrink diet"?
Going through all the information provided to me by my weight loss surgery center I can not find any document labeled with that heading “Liver Shrink Diet“… What is that?
Your medical team wants to make sure you are ready for surgery, and your blood test results will tell them a lot about your body and your medical condition. This will also give your medical team a huge insight into your liver function…
Your current liver function may not be the same as mine….
I am with Pam Davis…. What guidelines did your surgeon give to you? Considering your condition is unique from mine?
