Thank you. You're gonna do fine, too. My 6 week appt is 4/11. I'm ready for my strength training and zumba! You'll be sleeved and recovered before you know it. There so many changes the first few weeks that time will really fly by!

Congratulations on "getting it done"! I'm scheduled for next Monday (4/11) and I can't wait to get this over with. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can recover pretty quickly. You seem to be doing well.
OT: Khem, you're doing FAB!

Welcome to the loser's bench! I was off a month; but it was because of the type of work I do. I couldn't do heavy lifting. It does vary with each individual though. Just take it very slowly and carefully at first.
When did you go home? I came back to work Wednesday, but on another floor. How are you doing so far?

Dr Hodge just performed my RNY last Tuesday (3 days postop). I would recommend him. His staff, especially Pat Kline will be right there with you. Congratulations on your approval!

I had my surgery Monday morning. Everything went fine. I was just wondering how long did most of you guys take off from work?? They gave me a month off but I don't think I need to take that many days off.

Congratulations newtintn!
You are beginning a wonderful journey. I haven't posted in a while but wanted to wish you luck and God Bless. Yes, there will be days you will ask yourself, "did I do the right thing?" but it sounds like you have had to really fight for the chance to feel better about yourself and in turn, your life (a 2 1/2 year battle!). Good for you. AND YES, YAY YOU!!!
