Topic: Hi Tennessee...I'm back...where are the "old guys"
Hi folks. I've been off the boards for awhile. Should have stayed with it. Have gainec 15 pounds, but am on the way to getting that back off. I came there thinking I would see some of teh folks I used to chat with when I was on the boards awhile back. I don't recognize anybody on here yet.
I hope everyone is well and lots thinner! I have done well, just a mild bump in the road and I am trying to decarb myself and get back on track. Have lost ..3 or 4 of the 15 pounds I gained since I started back the day after Christmas.
I am so dissappointed in myself for this, but It is not so far out of hand that I can't get back to it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE carbs....I just have to say NO NO NO to them

Topic: New Year's Update on Me - Plastics
Hello,
I haven't been on this board in a while but I wanted to let you know that I am now 18 days out from my LBL and doing great! He removed 5.5 lbs of skin - doesn't sound like a lot (I thought it would be more honestly) but wow! what a difference!
The last of the 4 drains came out yesterday and I'm still in my binder. I even went to the gym for some walking this morning!
And FYI: my plastic surgeon was Dr. Tom Gallaher in Knoxville - PHENOMENAL! He did my BL/BA back in June, too, and I will continue to use him when I'm able to have more work done.
LIFE IS GOOD!

Dr. Boyce did my RNY over 2 years ago - still stay in touch with the staff and wouldn't go anywhere else.
He also did my gallbladder removal at 9 mos out and my internal hernia repair at 15 mos out. He's terrific and has an EXCELLENT reputation!
