Update--Weird EKG results
I had my stress test this morning. Let me just say that is something I don't want to have to do again. I didn't do the treadmill. I had chemicals injected to fool my heart into thinking I was working out. It plays tricks with your head and that's what makes it bad. It didn't hurt one tiny bit, just very, very creepy. At any rate....
The doctor said my heart was healthy and fine and will last me a good long while. I shook my hand and told me good luck with the banding and that he'd like to see me again in about two months to work out an exercise plan to build some cardio conditioning as mine was lacking (duh!).
So, I'm clear and surgery is on for Tuesday! I start liquids on Sunday. I'm going shopping for all my supplies after my consultation tomorrow. I won't buy them until I know I'm really, really having this surgery on Tuesday. How nuts is that?
Time for bed. Night everyone!
Marianne, that is truly wonderful news. I hate those stress tests. It sure made me realize what a real heart attack would feel like. I am really excited for you. Tuesday will be my four month anniversary. My how time has flown. I know you are going to fine and will lose the weight you want to lose.
May God travel with you on this journey to a healthier you. Kathy
