Hi Arianna, I sincerely appreciate the prayers and support. When I first started on this site 2 years ago, I didn't have half of what I have now. But as time came and went, one denial after another, I realized I wasn't listening. Everytime a door closed, I crawled thru the window. Then something hit me and all my teachings and up bringing gave me a real slap in the face. I had no family support at that time, my friends loved me no matter what, but I was miserable. Not just because of the weight, but I was missing out on life, being able to play with my new grandson from a wheelchair. I finally realized God was talking and sending messages but I wasn't listening at that time. When dad came down with cancer and had to have half of his left lung removed and the chemo treatments, I really saw things from his eyes for the first time. He's not a Christian but he will go with mom to church. The Pastor was there for dad when he went into surgery and was there when dad woke up. I knew then I was trying to do things my way and not God's. Once I got the message, I found out I had leukemia, and Dr. Colquitt was put into my path again. Here was a man who knew God, and knew that I needed this surgery. He got me thru it and has been so wonderful when I was too sick from the potassium levels and chemo to get up and walk. He's a wonderful surgeon but he also believes in God. I love my friends on this website, and each one is prayed for. If I can do something anything to help, just ask. I don't work, (Social Security pays me to stay out of the work force) plus being a disabled American Veteran, I don't have any pressures of working, or family to tend to. Between appointments with Dr.'s, bloodwork, and working out each day, I am free to help where ever it is needed. You hang in there and God will see you thru your daily needs. Love Kathy
