Hello all, I got a call from the surgeons office today. They need my PCP to fax a letter of recommendation(sp) Does this mean I am almost approved??? I ask, but the lady wouldn't tell me. I am hoping it is a good sign. If anyone know's PLEASE let me know. I am sooooo ready to do this. Sara.

Sara, I have no idea! It's crazy how every company requires something different on different days. I am sending patience vibes your way. Rachael

Sara, Most insurance companies require a letter of recommendation or letter of medical necessity from the primary care provider. Your surgeon's office probably needs it for the insurance company. Your surgeon's office can't tell you if you're almost approved, approved, or denied until they get that paperwork to the insurance company who will then give your surgeon's office and you an answer. You're almost there! april
