Surgury!

I'm writing on behalf of my wife who has been in the hospital since yesterday morning. The surgury was done in 1 hour and 40 minutes and she is well through recovery. Yesterday she walked twice and has already walked once this morning. They managed to do it lyproscopically with no complictations and only two sites bleeding lightly. She says her insides feel rearranged and she has no appitite. Last night she rated her pain a 7 (out of 10) and this morning its down to a 4. She is staying in perpetual sleepiness only because of the constant beep, beep, beep of the heart monitor (that they won't shut off) and the hourly visits by the nurses for tests. I can attest to this because I was sleeping with her all night on an even more uncomfortable fold out vinyl chair/bed thing. She had asked me when I got home to send you guys a tell. Today she is hoping to get the catheder out and she gets to have some water (she hasn't gotten to drink anything since midnight Monday).

Glad to hear her pain level is tolerable. Getting rid of that catheter will make it easier for her to get up and moving so she can get home and get some rest. Give her our love. Susan
