To the nurse for review?

I called my insurance company today, & they said it had been submitted & was with the nurse for review. I have BlueCare/Medicade. Do any of you all know maybe how long this will take?? I am so tired of waiting. I also want to say good luck to all whose approval has came thru. I hope a speedy & uneventful recovery for you. Thanks & Sara.

Sara, What Beth at Vandy told me was that most insurance companies start with a nurse *****views the case. Sometimes, depending on the company, the nurse is able to approve the case without a medical director's review. When I spoke with her about this she also mentioned that some insurance companies mandate a medical director's review. I hope you find out soon. At least that means they are looking at it!!!! Hi Sara, honey you have come thru this beautifully. When You first came on the board, you didn't know much about computors, posting, and things just got to you real quick. But you remained strong thru it all. Now look at you, you're inspiring to others, there's a smile inside you that says this is what you want. So if it takes a few days for your approval, I know you can handle this in the only you know. That's with patience. Just remember some will never be able to have this surgery for a better life, because of exclusions in their insurance policies. I Know you can handle this, and you will get approved. That's a good sign Sara. At least now you know they're looking at it. It shouldn't take long now. Keep your chin up. You'll be posting an approval & surgery date before your know it.

Sara, First hello neighbor We don't live that far apart I'm in Oak Ridge. I would say it is in the bag! I had the same insurance as you have and it was 1 week when all was turned in I was so surprised and very thankful that it would soon be over.
