Well, after exactly 3 months after surgery, I have lost 81 pounds! I have been given the go ahead to eat a salad (which I did and it wasnt as wonderful as I had dreamed it would be!) and it did stay down! I have been given permission to excerise as in sit ups since I am completly healed inside. This is the best thing that I have ever done for myself! I still am addicted to sugar free pop-cycles and think I might have to find a 12 step program! But chew chew chew and moderation are the key. I am in love with the starkist tuna meals, it is perfect. And I am getting all my protein plus through pro-stat. I have also gotten B-12 injections from my primary doctor. My daughter is not happy about the healthy choices in the house now, but is getting used to it! LOL

Congratulations Michella! You're doing wonderfully! 81lbs in 3 months is awesome! I hope I do as well as you. What kind of exercise regime do you have? Keep up the good work! April

Hi Michella, that's great. I am also 3 months post-op as of the 9th, down to 220 lbs. That's a total of 61 pounds. I'm surprised considering all the IV's I've had to be one. But doesn't it feel great to buy something new and know it's going to fit without having to try it on. I have 90 lbs to go to my goal, but I am going to stop at around 160 and start the reconstruction procedures. That will help to get rid of the extra flab and will lose more weight. I may have an ulcer in my pouch, losing blood somewhere, and have problems with my potassium, but having this surgery was the best thing I could do for myself. We need to post new pics. You are doing great, keep it up. Love Kathy
