I LOVE Prescott, such a neat town! Before my mother passed away we used to go to the arts festival in Stockholm, then head to Prescott to eat at the Steamboat. I ate there before both of my proms...ha ha.
My fiance and I are getting married in July at Spring Lake Park Reserve in Hastings, overlooking the river and Prescott.
Packers rain coat, that's funny! I attended a funeral several years ago for a family friend from Pepin, WI...he had bought a Packers casket as part of his funeral pre-planning...and was actually in it at the wake and funeral, wearing his Favre jersey and foam cheese hat. It was a sad event, but you couldn't help but giggle a little at his devotion to his beloved team. My dad kept saying he wanted a Vikings version....geez

I graduated in 1998, but have siblings that graduated between 1989-2000, so if you know someone from town, chances are I do to. When did you graduate? The St. James is so beautiful. We wanted to have our wedding there, up in the Summit room....yeah right, can we say EXPENSIVE??? Is that where your proms were? It used to be one of my family's traditions to go there for the fabulous brunch that they have on Christmas eve...No wonder I got so chunky...cheese curds may have had something to do with that too....sigh, I'll miss cheese curds! We have decided to come back for the state fair every year for them.
What brought you to TN? What do you think of the weather change?

I also graduated in 1998. My husband and I have come to Tennessee to go to Seminary at the University of the South. We are set to become Episcopal Priests in two years. We live on top of a mountain between Nashville and Chattanogga so the weather on the mountain is cooler than the rest of the state. We had snow on the mountain several times this year. I was pleasantly surprised. I missed cheese curds so bad this year that when we went back for Christmas I packed a cooler of them from the creamery in Ellsworth. Ellsworth has the best cheese curds.
