Small update...what does it mean?

Hey all. So many approvals this week! I am so pleased. I hope I am next. I have been calling Aetna every day and all I have been hearing is, "it's under review" Ok, well today when I called, the rep. said that the nurse reviewing the case has requested more clinical data. The nurse reviewing the case called Beth (pre-determination woman at vandy) to request this info. The rep. couldn't tell me anything else. I immediately tried to call Beth but didn't get an answer. I of course left a message. I checked my cell phone and Beth had left a voice mail for me telling me that I needed to call her right away because Aetna was requesting some information. I still couldn't reach her! I am sure she will call me back tomorrow, she has been great about that, but I am DYING to know what's going on. This is the first movement on the deal in over a week and I need to know what they want. What on Earth could they want. My mom decided that Aetna calling was a good thing. They could have declined me....instead they only requested some more info. What do they need......sigh Rachael

perhaps they need more past medical records? Some companies require several years worth of records documenting your weight, hopefully, that is what they want. My insurance company required 5 years. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you April
