APPROVED!!!!!!
Hi Everyone!
I'm new and I've only posted one other time but I wanted to post today to let you know that I'm APPROVED for surgery. Centennial called yesterday and I'm scheduled to meet with Dr. David Dyer on the 17th. I'll get my surgery date on that day. I am so blessed. I've been praying about this and I said to the Lord, that whatever the outcome..approval or denial I would accept it. The Lord has truly blessed me with favor. I'm still nervous but I have a great support team at work and with my immediate family. Please send well wishes and encouragement.

Congratulations Toi! I'm so excited for you. I was in the same boat as you... whatever the outcome, I would accept it. I just wanted an answer!! But I was approved by the grace of God and am scheduled for surgery with Dr. Houston at Centennial on April 11th. I am so excited! I was extremely nervous and scared moreso when I initally found out I was approved than I am now. I think being approved made it seem more real you know? But with time and more reading and praying, I've come to the conclusion that I'm in competent hands..I'm in God's hands, He's just working through my surgeon's hands. Being nervous is something everyone goes through.
I'm sending you well wishes and prayers. Everything will be fine...and we have wonderful skinny futures to look forward to

That's Great Toi! Congrats. I can only imagine how excited you are right now. What kind of surgery are you having - Lap Band or the Bypass?. Let us know when you surgery date is. It seemed like you had a fairly smooth process from orientation to approval. That is wonderful. I am sure the time will fly by until your surgery.
