Latest on Kathy Newton.

Hello all, I spoke with Kathy this morning & she is having to have 2 unit's of blood. Her potassium level is still dropping even tho she is getting it thru her I.V. Last night it was 3.2, this morning it is down to 2.9. Boredom is setting in, & she is wanting her computer. LOL!! They aren't bringing her very good food choices, so this in turn is causing her protein level to drop also. If you can, please give Kathy a call. Her cell number is in her post on March 16th. The title is,"Back in the hospital". I will update as I find out more. Kathy has been an inspiration to us all. I know I say this in every post, but she is a wealth of info & I pick her brain when I can. She fought to have this surgery & she is traveling a bumpy road right now. I know she will be fine, just is taking a while. Thanks to all. Sara.

Thank you for keeping us posted. I know how terrible it is to sit up in the hospital...I know she'll be home soon though. I tried to call her at the hospital, I couldn't find the post with her cell number. No one answered in her room, but I'm gonna go back and see if I can find her cell!!! Jacqueline
